Pink Sugar by Aquolina Hair Perfume 100ml

Smells amazing, fruity because of the scents, great summer spray if you need any, and it does last a while when you spray it into the hair but it fades away after an hour or so.

The smell smells quite sweet!!, kinda like bubblegum mixed with a hint of vanilla and birthday cake. I wish the smell lasted longer BUT it’s really good considering its price and it goes well with layering other perfumes (like the Victoria secret bare vanilla) !! + customer service was really sweet and so helpful.

It was okay, the smells gets a bit sickening after a while but it is true to the word that it does smell like pink sugar so if that’s what you’re wanting to smell like then go ahead. For me personally, I would not repurchase.

(Mrs Welch here) This product is a tough one to review because there are things that I really like about it, but there are things that I could really do without. As a basic start, I love the scent - this is a sweet, candy-like scent with hints of bergamot (I think), but overall it's a very sweet scent. Think cotton candy (candy floss) - this is not a 'mature' scent, admittedly, but it really appeals to me. Now for the drawbacks... there's a part of me that likes the silicone included in this spray because of it's smoothing and shining effect on the hair BUT because the scent doesn't last that long as a noticeable scent, in my opinion, one might be tempted to use more... in which case, the silicone becomes a liability because of the capacity for buildup. The rationalization seems to be that this 'siliconic' formula protects against UV rays. Whatever. I'd rather forgo the styling buildup, especially because my (very long) hair is of a heavy, thick texture with thick strands - it's curly naturally, but straightens to a sort of Asian texture. In other words, because my hair's heavy already, I'm leery of weighing it down more - I don't want a potential oil slick effect that might result from, say, three days of continual use of this product before washing my hair. Overall I would prefer a sort of pure scent product rather than a scented grooming product, which is what this seems to be. Prior to trying this, I used a hair perfume spray that my sweetie brought back from Japan, and though I really do adore the scent of this Pink Sugar, I much prefer that other product because it doesn't interfere by adding a coating of product onto my hair. With this package, I received a tiny sample of the Pink Sugar eau de toilette and because I like the scent of it all, I have considered simply buying the eau de toilette and spraying it onto my hair instead. Also, I'd like to say that I think the price of this hair perfume is a bit steep for the amount that you get, but then again I do have long, thick hair, so admittedly, I've a lot of area to cover. But essentially, if I had to pull a figure out of the air, I think it could have retailed at around £8.00 rather than over £12.00. Time and testing will tell if I will buy this product again. I'll go through several hair washing cycles, see how long the bottle lasts, and if I think it is worth it in the long run, I will try the product again. All in all, personally I'm not sure I'll be 'committing' to this product, BUT if you like sweet, girly scents, I'd give it one go and see how you like it.

After reading reviews I was really excited about this. It smells like pure alcohol when you first spray it and after it dries it doesn't smell of much at all. Wouldn't repurchase

I absolutely love this perfume and always receive compliments on how great I smell, which is such a confidence boost. While I do wish it wasn’t so expensive, quality often comes at a cost, and this fragrance is worth it. The bottle size is generous, and I’m not disappointed at all. I’ve been purchasing this perfume for over five years now, and it remains my go‑to. I will continue recommending it 100% — love, love, love this fragrance!

It smells beautiful on my girlfriend

I recently found Pink Sugar perfume and LOVED it! Our younger daughter loved it too, so I thought I'd go ahead and order a body mist for her. She, my husband, and I all love this fun fragrance! Both the perfume and the body mist are light fragrances that you might need to reapply throughout the day in order to really appreciate this fragrance. Please note that the body mist is lighter than the perfume. It's the type of fragrance you could probably wear around people who are sensitive to fragrances. In terms of what it smells like, if you love the scent of cotton candy, you'll love this body mist! Cotton candy is the first fragrance you'll notice. After that, in my opinion you'll smell a hint of pepper or licorice, and finally, the fragrance that lingers in the end is a soft caramel. Both the cotton candy and the caramel scent aren't overly sweet or cloying, they're just the right amount of light and fresh that most people who've complimented my fragrance have noted. I don't know if I'm making this sound better or worse than it is, but it's a really fun, youthful, everyday fragrance that youthful people of any age can wear or spray in their room to lift their mood. Spray it in your hair if you want to catch a waft of it here and there all day long! I also spray it around my bedroom because it's just really a happy fragrance. According to Aquolina the top notes are Raspberry, Orange, Fig Leaf and Bergamot. To my untrained nose, unfortunately I don't pick up any of that. The middle notes are Cotton Candy, Licorice, Red Berries, Strawberry and Lily-of-the-Valley. I definitely get that wonderfully playful cotton candy scent that, in my opinion, is most prominent! And finally, the base note is caramel, which again, in my opinion, is very definitely what you smell lastly. It's the scent that lingers after the scent of cotton candy is gone. I love this fragrance. It's not sophisticated, it's just fun and youthful! It would definitely please youthful women of all ages who want something playful and light. Our younger daughter is 28 and she loved it from the first moment she smelled it, and her taste in perfumes is very contemporary. Pink Sugar would make an excellent gift for anyone who loves the smell of cotton candy and soft caramel! If you're a fan of Philosophy's "Falling in Love", you'll like Pink Sugar! If you're not a fan of fragrances that need to be reapplied throughout the day, skip the body mist and go with the perfume! My daughter and I highly recommend this light, fun, youthful fragrance that's reminiscent of cotton candy!
