Standard Dickies work pants have a 1.5" belt loops. But the belt adjustment clip that you use to adjust the size doesn't quite fit through the belt loops. You have to be a bit patient with it to get them through the loops. Denim belt loops are a bit more forgiving. Other than that, the quality is excellent. Belt material is what you'd expect from a seat belt woven fabric. Buckle-Down does have an alternate material that might look to be slightly inferior. But looks can be subjective. I'm afraid the GM button logo used to release the belt will fade and discolor over time.

First of all, this is the best belt I've owned so far. Outside of the fact that its a seat belt and that's way cool on its own, but its VERY secure and VERY durable. I'm so tired of buying a new belt every year because they start to deteriorate. I don't think ill have that problem with this one. Seems like it will last a lifetime. Obviously this would've been a 5 star review, except for the fact that the belt I received doesn't match the one in the picture. WIth these belts, if you want something that doesn't stand out that much, or you're not a huge fan of domestic vehicles - There's unfortunately not a lot of choices available. So I opted for the simplest looking GM one, the one WITHOUT "The Mark Of Excellence" printed on the buckle. However, The first belt I received did indeed say "The Mark Of Excellence" clearly on the front of the buckle. So I returned it, saying that I received the wrong item, and stated clearly in the comments that the one I ordered does not say "The Mark Of Excellence" in the picture. But alas, when my second belt came, I opened the package to realize I had received yet another "Mark Of Excellence" belt, without any explanation. So I just gave up basically and kept the stupid "Mark Of Excellence" belt, which was even a few dollars cheaper than the plain GM one at the time that I had purchased it. Its just not worth fighting for, and clearly there's not even a human handling returns, and if there is they don't give a damn. So the reduced overall rating is not the manufacturers fault, just Amazon's, but maybe if I say something they'll fix the problem. Maybe, maybe not..

Best belt i ever bought really comfy

Really love this belt, you don't have to fight with it like other belt you simply push the button or clip it back in just like a regular car seat belt, very comfortable, materials are 10/10 buckle is solid and won't break anytime soon and i don't know if this is genuine approved car seat belt but it does feel like it( i would bet it could easily hold my weight). It does not come loose and for adjustability you only have to pull the belt and plastic adjuster in the back and that's it. Had it for more than a year now and i don't think it will ever break there's no sing of wear and tear at all.

The belt itself is easy to thread through belt loops, stays taught (the nylon hasn't stretched or frayed in the 6 months I've been wearing mine) and the belt buckle reminds me of the 80's style cars from when I was a kid. At $32 CAD it's well worth the price. What more could you ask for?
