This is actually a brilliant product. I love the idea of how small it is yet it looks stylish and well made, the magnetic lid works nicely. A really cool idea which could make for a "perfect" pen for the purpose, however as previously mentioned the 3 ink cartridges supplied run low very quickly rendering the pen useless for the purpose. Luckily this is an easy fix as I can just pick up any other regular pen and cut down the cartilage to correct size and it of course works. Possibly due to the fact that ink is stored in open space, hopefully this is fixed, I will not rate it down assuming I dont get any further issues. Comes with a solid little box which is useful. Apart from this small flaw it is a great gadget and now my work colleagues are jelaous of how cool it is! Thanks

A tiny ballpen with its length not longer than an ordinary door key. It fits into my key pouch nicely. The pen can be extended telescopically into an ordinary pocket-size pen and provides is very comfortable grip. The magnetic cap is tight and secure. It writes smoothly and the design is elegant. I think it is the best designed mini-ballpen on the market. The price is very reasonable, too. I am now carrying it with my keys wherever I go. With it, I can assure myself that I always have a usable ballpen for whatever situation.

I have tried every type of keyring pen going. The others fall out and get lost in a matter of weeks. This has lasted the longest using a magnet I think to secure it in place. Its slightly wider than others but it's stronger and not an issue.Doesn't actually look like the pic though. Its a gun metal colour and metal finish and lid is different shape to the one shown. So loses a star for the pic.

Looks good, feels solid but the refill slips up inside the pen casing which means a) you can't write with it and b) it jams the telescopic part of the pen. It ended up jn the bin after a couple of days of trying to fix it. So disappointing, waste of a tenner.

Great idea, solid design and perfect keyring size but then telescopic to make a really comfortable writing pen too and the magnet is very strong to stop you losing it.So to the negatives... When you rely on it to work it'll invariably fail you.... The ink would last a while but an air pocket grows in-between the nib and the body of ink so it can't flow.Great potential and better than their other version which had a far weaker magnet and you'd lose it very quickly... Comically the pen was able to write for ages ..... They need to combine the best of both.I've just tested a new ink refill, from new and can see the dreaded air bubble, can't get the ink to push it out, will have to look for another product.Sorry True Design, back to the drawing board for you guys.

I purchase one of these a couple of years ago and its still going strong. I was going to get the next model down this time as is a little cheaper than this , but better the devil you know , as they say?I got this for my other set of keys . The ink lasts longer than you think it would for its size.I dont use as a main pen only as a handy pen . It always gets commented on when i use the telescopic . Such a handy item to have on your keyring and its not big in size or bulky. Ive not had issues with the magnet. This magnet doesnt seem as strong as my first pen . Only time will tell. But happy with my purchase

Well made collapsible pen that goes on a key ring with a durable metal casing but the flaw is that it’s upside down, this means even after a few hours on a keyring the ink flows away form the tip of the pen and the pen is then temporarily useless.It’s a good pen, I’m still going to use it just not put it on my key ring “upside down”. I keep it in my coin pocket in my jeans
