The manufacturer displays a health & safety “Quick Response code” on the plastic magnet container which is advisable for the end user to read especially children who may be attracted to it. (Pardon the pun). It does state that magnets with a force of three 3kilos or above are extremely dangerous in the wrong hands, and two together if ingested could be life threatening. I personally think this magnet has sufficient power to use around the house with a force of 1kg. Health & Safety has definitely taken priority when you see how well this magnet is protected with a durable thick plastic case & metal keeper attached, very thoughtful indeed when storing away. The magnet weighs 78.8 grams without the keeper or cover. The horse shoe style & colour is traditionally very appealing but I would say a word of warning avoid dropping the magnet on a hard surface due to it’s style it may brake.

I purchased this after watching a kids show using magnets and cardboard to make metal items 'magically move' using a hidden magnet like this. My 3 year old loved it, so we ordered this online. From the item description, the magnet is not too big and I wondered if it would be powerful enough. But this is just the right size and weight for a child and I was surprised that for its size, it was quite powerful. If it had been more powerful, it would be hard for a child to remove items from the magnet. As soon as it was opened, we did the 'magic trick' using cardboard and the small bit of metal that comes with it. My son went through EVERYTHING in sight to see if it was metal. The metal that didn't stick, he referred to as 'not real metal'. The only way I could convince him to leave the house was to see if my car was metal!! Very educational and fun! Delivery prompt and wrapped well - posted through letter box.

der Magnet ist richtig stark, man bekommt alles Festangezogene kaum wieder ab, man muss seitlich schieben, wie es auch in der Anleitung steht.

Sono veramente soddsfatto dell'acquisto; si tratta di un magnete tradizionale di notevole potenza con il quale è possibile catturare e quindi separare oggetti in ferro (ad esempio viti, chiodi, dadi, ecc.) e anche ritrovarli facilmente dopo una loro eventuale caduta a terra.
