Quality is spot on

I had 2 yard cart tires that I could not find wheels and tire sets. I decided to put inner tubes in them and wanted to make it as easy as possible. The bead breaker is a little pricey for home use, as it was for me, but it worked as advertised and after a little learning curve I was able to break the tire bead on my 2 dump cart wheels with no problem. Of course, getting the tires back on manually was still tricky but was able to do so with persistence. I am very pleased with how functional the bead breaker worked, as mentioned pricey...but it worked!

Works really good on large tires this one is the big one heavy and helps to have two people to use

I needed to remove the inner tube on my JD4020 and I did not think I would be able to break the bead. I have never worked on any kind of tire, much less a big tractor tire. I hooked this up to the rim and in 30 seconds the bead was broken. Wow, I never thought it could be so easy. I also bought two tire spoons and in another 30 minutes I had the tire off the rim. Hopefully it was not beginner's luck, but I will find out soon enough. I am a pro at popping tires on this tractor! It is a big expense up front, but I didn't have to pay big bucks to have someone come put to the farm to fix my tire.UPDATE - I used this breaker for a second time, just this week, on the other tire on my 4020. I have never replaced this tire in the 35 years that I've owned the tractor, and I wasn't sure if it was going to do the job. It took a few trips around the rim and it did start to tear the tire, but it finally broke the bead. It would have been impossible for me to get the tire off without it. It is worth EVERY penny I paid for it. Unfortunately one of the handles broke, but even that was not enough to bring this down to four stars. Buy it, you won't be sorry!

When you release it. The clamp let's go of rim while ram still has pressure against tire. Poor design do not recommend do to safety issue

Broke a manual bead breaker on a 23.1x30 tire and couldn't get the bead broken. Bought this unit and had the tire broke down after a couple of tries. Works way better if there is a notch in the tire for the breaker but still worked after a few tries. Only issue is it is heavy and is hard to hold up to some rims when using and trying to operate the foot pedal. Overall happy with the unit.

I bought this bead breaker because most of the reviews were good and its a lot cheaper than the name brand ones. We replaced 6 road grader tires 17.5R25 without any issues in 3 hours. This thing has an incredible amount of power and you would not be able to get the tires off without a tool like this. I don't think I would use this on small truck tires it would probably damage the rim, but larger ag tire such as the ones I did or large tractor tires it's perfect! Wasn't really sure how it worked untill I hooked it up to air and tried it. If it doesn't make sense once you see it operate you probably shouldn't be doing big tires.

Some simple assembly required but overall value is excellent for non professional tire use.
