Brother MFCJ5730DWZU1 All-in-One A3 Inkjet Printer

I bought this to replace a similar-footprint (A3) and similar-function Epson WP-3545 which had one fatal flaw: the Epson leaked a lot - it got replaced by a factory-refurbished one - only for the replacement to leak again, this time outside its warranty. I mention my Epson experience because the Brother MFC-J5730DW is superior in every respect: notably sharper text and quality colour rendering, faster and quieter printing and scanning, more versatile, easier to set up and so far has been fault-free. I've printed over 1000 sheets so far, on the factory-supplied original set of ink, this is much more economical than the Epson.

Loooooooove my printer. Easy to install and use. You could buy Cheap ink and the ink tinting quality is still great. I bought it on a sale price from amazon for £148, but a few weeks later it went down to £110/£120 (can’t remember exactly). But still worth it. I can print A4 and A3 and I can print from other devices like my mobile device, pictures, documents and photos

Great machine - love it. It has all the bells and whistles although I only bought it because I needed A3 colour printing. It's a big ol' beast - but you aren't going to get something small and neat if you need A3. IT DOES NOT SCAN A3 - only A4. It's quick, great quality, does everything I need it to do and looks like a robust machine you would expect to find in an office. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the supplier uses Yodel and they are the WORST delivery company to ever exist on the planet. I ended up collecting it from Yodel - 2 hours and 64mile round trip - so if you live remotely - find it from another supplier!

Exceptional product for the price. Cartridges maybe too expensive, but the machine is surely excellent. Shame that the bottom drawer need to be left open when installing the A3, but for the price, you can't expect a superior machine. Does the job well and if printing at very high resolution. All in all, excellent value for money.

Love it, so many features on it. Have now been able to do all my faxing, scanning, printing A4/A3 on this machine. I was even able to set it up all myself and believe me I am not technical minded. Great machine and am very happy with it.

Not happy with this printer. The quality of print/scan/copy is bad, I have an old 2008 HP laser printer which prints higher quality. The prints look like washed out even on best quality settings. Poor colour printing, much less than what I print outside. The 2-sided printing is horrible, the back page contents appear on each face. When I scan or copy a 2-sided page printed by this printer, both page contents are shown on each face which make the page unreadable. I was expecting higher quality from a printer of such price. Had to return.

Fantastic product that has every feature imaginable. Web print and scan. Fast. Quiet. Two trays. Had a Brother MFC J44 series and that was also fantastic. This one is bigger faster and more office oriented but I would have one in a dedicated home office. Cheap ink refills. The best.

So far so good. The pictures have a few lines on, but nothing I can't live with. The two sided scanning makes up for it, it really is brilliant, very easy. Just installed the app on my phone and that was all it took to set it up. I'm going to scan old paperwork so it is stored on my iCloud before shredding it to reduce the heaps of old documents I have filed which I'll probably never need again.
