Works fine
The media could not be loaded. I've bought this electric water tap for my food trailer. Working ok. Take time to reach the highest temperature and some time doesn't reach it at all. Definitely not the best on the market but does the job for the price.

Great hot water tap.
I have put this in my garden / laundry room instead of trying to run a hot water supply across the garden. It works really well. I love the fact that there is a temperature indicator so it is easy to get the water to a sensible temperature. It work on a 13 plug so doesn't use that much electricity, only heating the water on demand. Looks just like a normal kitchen tap and provides cold, warm or hot water. Very pleased with it.

Tripped out my electrics
This tap works well, until the insides melt.Plumbed it in on 21/02, worked wonderfully until last week 18/05, I heard a pop and it tripped out my kitchen electrics, when I tried to turn it back on, it tripped everything again. They’re a good tap to wash hands or the odd cup/plate, filling an average sink will damage the tap.

Helped us for the last ten months
I don't often write reviews but for this I thought I should. We got this in Sept 2022 after our boiler went bang and we couldn't afford to repair or replace it. We needed hot water, weren't sure how long for and we saw this as an option. My partner fitted it - not a plumber just a general diy person. Didn't take too long.We plugged it in and it has been going ever since. Still have it in the kitchen atm but also have a new boiler. Not in a rush to put the kitchen tap back to normal through the boiler though because this works so well.It does take a while (maybe 5mins) to fill a washing up bowl but I just accept that and Potter around doing other stuff while it does.It does spray water a bit if you turn it on full blast so I'm just mindful of that. You can make it so it comes out slower and then the water doesn't go everywhere. It being plugged in, it did blow the fuse box once when it was on about 70 degrees for a few mins. It has only done it the once, and as it wasn't bought by us to provide extra hot water - just hot water for the washing up and to wash hands - we keep it on about 55 maximum and it hasnt done it again. Really 45 degrees is fine for kitchen jobs. Its not something that we are going to keep using forever but the last ten months it has been so amazingly helpful.Just thought should post this so anyone considering buying it would know.

Good actually!
Not had long but it is actually quite good for the money.Fitted in a utility room, requires the pressure reducing to help it get hot.Spot on for washing hands etc.Hope it lasts.........

Drop-in replacement for other manufacturers unit.
Bought this to replace a similar product from another manufacturer that had somehow burned out. The supplier of that one could only supply a 5KW replacement and that needed to be wired back to the main board. This one was a drop-in replacement for the old unit, fitted it myself, no sweat. We find the temperature display very handy, as the tap doesn't work quite as described. It is supposed to have max cold water with the handle up and max hot water with the handle down, and mixed proportionately in between. What happens is different, as the heating of the water is dependent on the speed at which it passes through the unit, so for max 'hot' volume it is actually a lot cooler than lowest 'hot' volume, if you follow. So for us we put the handle down to an 8 o'clock position, not quite as much water coming through as at 6 o'clock, but a nice hot 45 degrees, and a fine amount of water coming through to rinse something or fill a saucepan for washing. Opening up the volume of water any more reduces the temperature, and turning it back to a 9 o'clock position makes it less in volume but a lot hotter, nearer 60 or 70 and the display starts flashing. These figures probably depend on how the pressure is into your tap. I could open our valve supplying this more but it might be too much, i.e.coming through too fast to heat it. If it overheats apparently it cuts out and there is a reset button in the base that you need a small screwdriver to press. (see the instruction leaflet).ps. it comes with an adapter to allow you have the cable above the counter to plug it in if you must.

So far so good
Pretty easy to install, i got a british plug with mine which i had to wire up (easy) and fits standard pipes. Took me 30 minutes to fit in all.It seems well made and sturdy, on low flow I've had up 80 degrees out of it, on a normal flow i get around 45 to 50. The only thing i find weird is the fact you have to go through the cold setting to reach the hot, by that i mean, as you move the lever down it gives cold water which builds up more power until you get half way down, then it switches to hot water. Then to turn it off you go back through the cold water until the lever is facing up again. This is no issue really though, been using the tap a few weeks now and so far no problems, i am happy with it.
