The OG of car trim restoration
What is there to say that hasn't already been said about this stuff ?This liquid really works and actually delivers on it's claims to restore faded and old looking plastic trim on your car, Gtechniq has mastered this, it's easy to apply, the instructions are so easy and straight forward, no need for any kind of special preparation...(or dances / sacrifices to the gods of car detailing)Just a few drops are required, and the results are stunning, you can even apply a second coat for extra protection. It's easy to use and gives a level of protection to your car I've never seen before.some folk have mentioned the smell? personally I didn't notice one.

Works like magic
Works like magic. It's a tiny bottle but just a small wipe and the trim looks perfect. Amazing stuff. Will have to see how it lasts; if it lasts a year it is worth the money :)

A quality product restoring trim to new
Importantly, if you clean the surfaces in preparation for the application of this product you will find a solution that is remarkably easy to apply. Brilliantly restored to a new look .. Highly recommend.

Pound for pound it actually pays for itself
This seems expensive when compared to other products on the market. However, a small amount goes a long way & doesn't need to be reapplied anywhere near as often as other brands. It also gives a nice finish, isn't greasy like some products & easy to apply.

Excellent results
Great product. Bought to revitalise fading black plastics on our 10 year old Ford. Plastics cleaned first with citrus pre wash as per instructions. Decided to go belt and braces so also cleaned with Auto Glym intensive tar remover to ensure all previous sealants were removed, then a quick wipe with isopropyl alcohol. Applied product with the supplied pads, then buffed with clean micro fibre. Instant results. Pleased to see no reduction in appearance after 3 weeks and multiple rain showers. Also enough product left to tidy up a few areas on my other car.Product isn’t cheap but I think it’s worth it. Very happy.

Great Stuff
Best plastic protector lve ever used, my black plastic ( and rubber ) back to a lovely black shine and it also repels rain water. Used it a month ago and still looking great.

Doesn't do what it says on the tin!
Permanent it is not. Good in the short term, but it's just like all the other trim restorer products. Good initial coverage then it fades and after a few car washes your back to square one.

Back to black that lasts.
The surprising thing about GTechniq C4 is the tiny bottle of liquid you get. Even the 30mm size , which is what I used , is still only the size of a vape liquid bottle.First thing you’ll say to yourself is “what the hell am I supposed to do with that?” but as it turns out , I managed to do mine AND my wife’s car and still had a little bit left over.If you only have the one car to do , buy the 15mm size which should be enough. The little makeup remover pads that come with it (4 in total) are not great , but ok , but you’ll probably need a few more , so go upstairs to your wife’s unbelievably disorganised dressing table (I can’t be the only one) and nick a few of hers as they’re exactly the same.If you are doing this outside , check the weather forecast for the next couple of days as this needs to cure for at least 12 hours before getting wet.Make sure the plastics of your car are clean and free of dirt then apply 4 to 5 drops on the pad which is all that’s required and will surprisingly cover a substantial area. It’s been 9 months since I applied this and I regularly wash the car and it’s still holding up well and has absolutely no signs of needing another application as the plastics still look a rich black.Other products I’ve used , albeit cheap , even when dried out over days in the hot sun still tend to run after it’s been rained on and can see run marks down the paintwork particularly around the wing mirrors…Not so with C4.Also , you’d be lucky to have 2 weeks before needing to apply again with standard “back to black” type chemicals from Halfords, so C4 is definitely worth investing in.In my view , it’s the best and longest lasting plastic blackener I’ve used and will definitely buy more when needed
