I bought this in 2023, and I have to say this monitor ticks all the boxes. It has KVM functionality, 4K resolution screen with 144 Hz refresh rate with HDR. Brightness is good, gives you ample of connectivity option on the back side for USB devices.

This is an excellent monitor, being 4k 28” ppi is very high, one cannot see any pixels on screen. Before this monitor I tried Benq EW3270U (~30k) and PD3200U (~60k) but both of them had issues EW one had very poor color reproduction, backlight bleedig and ips glow, I returned it and ordered PD3200U the panel was internally damaged when it was delivered moreover it was 60hz 100% sRGB and only these features for 60k in my view are not justified. On the other hand M28U is 4k 144hz, playing games on this monitor is a very good experience, on color side it comes factory calibrated (120% sRGB) and has the best colors of all the monitors I have used in the past, monitor control features are nice and handy. Being 4k and 28” is not a limitation for reading text for me, I am a software engineer so most of my time is spend on reading text which with high ppi helps very much here, I sit closer to the monitor that is also one of the reasons I don’t feel text to be too small, I use linux with no scaling, text rendering does not suffer at all in linux which was my concern before ordering 4k at 28”. All in all this monitor is excellent and only product with these features in India, I would say go for it, I look at monitor screen for 8 hrs a day so it is a tool on which I would not compromise.

Cons: There is a very noticable IPS glow on the corners of the screen when HDR is on. Especially in dark scenes. Also switching from a game to desktop is slow, takes 3 to 4 seconds. Monitor speaker quality is bad at high volumes. Pros: Colors pop, peak brightness is impressive even though it's just HDR 400 and KVM is great. Very minimal backlight bleed which is barely noticable.

The only draw back is brightness is not up to my expectations otherwise superb quality and easy to set up and works like a charm.

This is one of the best monitors I have ever used in a 28 inch form factor. The build is great and the the stand is sturdy. Works great with Mac using a thunderbolt 4 cable also supports powder delivery. But the unit that I received was damaged and this is out of stock as of now hence will be returning it. Overall it's a good buy if you receive it in good condition.
