I want to buy as a gift, how often do these get broken in delivery? There's no shop's near me that sell these, should i risk it?

I have never had one broken, they are very well packed and have a thick, moulded cardboard protective case around them

Would this work as a nice smelling bug repellent?

I don't know because I just use it in kitchen. Not seen any bugs and we don't normally get flies.

there is a lot of black smoke coming from lavander , is this normal ?

Trim wicks to ¼ inch to reduce the release of soot. Make sure your candle burns low and even for a cleaner burn. Burn container candles until there is a wax pool across the top of the candle, which should not be longer than 4 hours.
