At last, a security kit that feels as though somebody has actually paid attention to the details. The SANSCO package comes with two outdoor Wi-Fi cameras. Each one pairs a fixed 4-megapixel lens for the wide view with a separate PTZ lens that can pan a full 360 degrees, tilt 90 degrees, and follow movement on its own. Footage streams in 2K to the supplied 12-inch monitor and lands on the pre-installed 1-terabyte drive. After dark you can pick between straight infrared, full-colour vision provided by the LEDs, or a hybrid mode that switches when needed. Image quality remains sharp even under a grey, drizzly sky, and the night-time colour mode lets me read the number stencilled on my wheelie bin without squinting. The Wi-Fi 6 signal punches through two brick walls without fuss, although the 5 GHz band loses a bit of strength at the very end of the garden. Motion tracking spins round faster than the children when the ice-cream van jingles down the street, though it can be a little jumpy when branches sway in the wind. Decent build, genuine plug-and-play installation, and room for sixteen channels add up to a sensible, good-value option for keeping an eye on a family home.

Each camera has a fixed 4MP lens for the wide view and a PTZ lens that pans 360 degrees and tilts 90 degrees with auto-tracking. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and H.265+ compression keep streams stable and storage efficient. For night, you can choose infrared, full colour with the LEDs, or a smart mode that switches as needed. Set-up took only a few minutes, Bluetooth pairing did the heavy lifting, and the live feeds appeared quickly. Picture quality is crisp, motion looks smooth, and the dual view is genuinely useful. One lens keeps an eye on the whole area, the other follows movement. The colour night view benefits from a bit of ambient light, otherwise IR is the better bet. The 12-inch screen is handy, although the viewing angles are only OK. Auto-tracking can be a little over-eager with swaying branches, and the power leads could do with being longer. Our Labrador became the star of several tracking clips. As a package, it delivers broad coverage, clear footage, and painless expansion. The build feels solid, the app has been reliable, and for the features on offer it hits a sweet spot for quality and value.

When I received the unit everything seemed in order, I installed my hard drive I purchased with the unit as well as setting up the cameras. The first night I noticed the camera wouldn't switch over to infrared and this made the camera useless at night so I contacted customer support and we arranged to switch out the camera for a working one however the replacement was the same and I contacted customer support again and they sent me a working one out of kindness. Another negative that really bugs me about the software on the DVR is the motion detection because its a software based detection it detects tiny bugs on the infrared at night time even on the lowest setting causing constant notifications to the mobile app alarms on the dvr, I think this is because it detects pixel changes so a slight change will trigger it which is a shame. Overall though the product works well and is very good quality and hasn't failed me yet, good customer service and definitely worth the money.

Very nice system. Complete with wireless screen with a built in hard drive, four camera, and all power adapters and cables, and a USB mouse for changing the settings on the screen. Positioned all the cameras, plugged them in and powered them on. Then powered on the screen unit and within 30 seconds all four cameras were displaying and recording. No setting anything up needed, they are already configured in the dvr screen unit settings menu with their IP addresses etc. The screen can display 8 channels at once, but since I only have 4 cameras I changed it to a 4 split view as you can see in my pictures. The cameras are very nice quality, they have ethernet ports too so they can be hard wired if preferred, or used wirelessly as I’m using them. The image quality is brilliant, records video of each camera at Full HD 1080p, and the playback can be played on the dvr screen. Also the video files can be exported by plugging in a USB flash drive or external hard drive and copied over at full resolution. The night vision is amazing, very long distance and works very well in the pitch black. If you plug the dvr screen into your home internet router, it connects to the internet and you can download an app and live stream and playback video from your phone anywhere in the world over the internet. This feature is amazing. There’s so many settings to adjust and play around with. You can add four more cameras to the system as it’s an 8 channel dvr. The 1tb hard drive will record all four cameras for about two weeks before it starts overwriting the oldest files. Brilliant system, can’t fault it, camera are great quality, and the dvr screen with a built in hard drive is brilliant. It also has a HDMI port so you can display to a larger screen like a TV. Internet connection to the phone app works seamlessly. Would definitely recommend this for anyone as it’s so easy to setup and get going.
