I mistakenly bought this book as I wanted the book rather than the summary!

Stimmig, komisch!

I purchased as a supplement to the book, which I really like. I thought this would be helpful as a discussion guide, but the questions were not great. The best part of this little book is the recap of characters, and that really isn't necessary for this book. Save your money; there's a much help for free online.

This book is profound and very well written! It gets in touch with the reader's feelings. I recommend this book for everyone who enjoys reading, but especially for people who suffer of depression. It may help them find meaning in life.

This book was recommended to me by a friend. I was excited to read it. I thought it was written in a pretentious way. Vocabulary was unnecessarily difficult and the plot was depressing. The chapters were short and often one had no idea how the chapters were even related.

A book to highlight with your favorite insightful quotes. It feels enjoyably crafted and pleasurable without being pretentious. Brings to mind a rare intention to "reread." And who has time for that these days?

An incredible tale of hope. The writer has an extensive and beautiful vocabulary. One of the most surprising endings I have ever read. Looking forward to her next book.

We read the Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery as part of my book club. The only benefit of the summary was that it helped to describe the families that lived in the building. Otherwise...not worth it. I also wasn't crazy about the book to begin with...I'm not a philosophy person...
