Bei wang 650nm 5mW Red Line Module Focus Adjustable Laser Head 5V good

Just connect to 3 AA batteries and I get a long red line uniform enough for my home made laser scanner using a raspberry pi camera. Just the very ends of the line are unusable. Adjustable focus gives a good range of ranges.

Decent, though ill be replacing the laser with something more powerful

I cannot see anywhere in the description that it's a flat line output. I require and was expecting a spot type.
