L'Oréal Colorista Washout Indigo Semi-Permanent Hair Dye

I love this colour as it looks pretty but also truly washes out without staining my blonde hair. I would say the negative is that there is not much product in there for the price. Consider two boxes if you have long hair and want to dye a full head. It also washes out very quickly, which is good in a way as it won't stain, but the colour is lovely so when you wash your hair often because of exercise, then it will be out quite fast and there is not enough in to redye the hair. But the pink is absolutely beautiful.

I had some concerns about how the Turquoise would come out on my hair after looking at the reviews after I ordered, but stuck with my decision and was very pleasantly surprised! My natural colour is dark blonde/light brown and the colour came out really nicely (without using bleach!), more forest/sea green than bluey turquoise but looks really nice! Probably wouldn't recommend for hair much darker/ash undertones however as you might not get as much colour payoff without bleaching (most of the reviews I watched were hair shades darker and although some came out alright there seemed to be a risk of not much showing/swampy green colour) With lighter hair you might get staining, I might yet as I still don't know how this dye will wash out. This being said I also have short hair so could use more dye on sections and having experience with the Colorista Orange hair left the dye on for around 45-50 mins for more vibrancy which I recommend. If you have long hair, get more than one bottle, especially if you want to do full coverage. The Colorista orange hair is pretty great too but more tinted my dark blond hair w red undertones to be more ginger, I personally already prefer the turquoise as it shows up differently to my natural tone (as it would sfhjsd) Overall the dye is great for do it yourself and leaves your hair soft, but my only warning is to check how it might come out on your hair colour before buying.

I’ve used this dye for about 2 years now and always adored the colour! It’s the only indigo I’ve ever found that’s dark enough for what I’m going for. Unfortunately since the formula has changed it’s not the same colour! Even the packaging clearly doesn’t show the same colour result. It’s more of a violet colour than an indigo now.

I brought this product as i am a brunette. The packet shows “Visible on all shades” as well as lasting up to 15 washes. However, i received the product today and it is NOT visible on dark hair shades and is only a Medium wear which did not show on the packet advertised. The packet advertised showed “visible on all hair types”, clearly not all. However, the product is really reliable, doesn’t ruin your hair and is probably the best semi permanent hair dye I’ve purchased. I recommend that if your willing to go for this shade, you have Light Brown/Medium Brown. If you have dark hair, the colour will not show up and this is NOT advertised so it’s a good job i have Medium brown hair. If you have blonde hair, this dye will show a more intense colour and will last longer.

When it arrived, the box was squashed and ripped and there was not much dye in the tube. It was easy to apply, however after waiting an hour and washing it out, it dyed my hair green not turquoise without much colour in my brown hair. It was not what I was expecting but I liked it. However my happiness didn't last long because after a day I had a bath with no shampoo/conditioner/hair products and all of the colour had drained out of my hair and stained my bath. NOT HAPPY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. will be asking for a refund. : (

I purchased this dye to brighten my red hair that had dulled a lot. I was really surprised at the colour pay off. Its a nice deep magenta red the exact shade i was looking for. Please note that my hair had been pre lightened. The only thing i have to warn anyone thinking of using this shade is that it stains like a MF. It even stained my bathroom sink (and my hands and clothes). So take precautions when using.

Perfect lasts a long time great colour

It didn't show up at all, I've used a few colours from various brands and this is definitely in the bottom few, it's not blue for a start it's purple. And I felt like I just rinsed it all down the drain. Won't be buying again.
