2022 Apple TV 4K Wi‑Fi with 64GB storage (3rd generation)

I bought the Apple TV 4K (3rd generation, 2022), mainly to improve streaming, and it’s ended up being one of those upgrades I notice every time I use it. The first thing I noticed was how fast everything feels. Apps open instantly, switching between them is smooth, and there’s no lag or waiting around like I had before. The picture quality is excellent, especially with 4K content. Everything looks sharper and more detailed, and it just feels more polished overall. What stood out to me most is how easy it is to use. The interface is clean, simple, and doesn’t feel cluttered. It’s easy to find what you want without scrolling around endlessly. The remote is straightforward and responsive, and once you get used to it, it just works without any issues. I have been using it daily, and it’s been completely reliable. It just runs in the background without needing any attention, which is exactly what I want from something like this. Storage wise, the 64GB is more than enough for apps and general use. It’s one of those things where I didn’t think I needed it at first, but now I wouldn’t want to go back to using built-in TV apps.

I'll start this off with saying the item I received, supposed to be new, clearly was not. There was no wrapping around the actual device itself. The sticker on the top, had partially been peeled off and no cellophane on the box. So Amazon, you get 0 stars for that but +1 because you delivered it when you said you would. For the device, easily 5 stars. I had a little issue powering on for the first time as the device didn't automatically prompt for an update so I couldn't access some of the features. Not a problem though, I just selected settings and forced an update. Et viola, everything was working as it was supposed to. After the update, I could access Apple TV+ and all of the content I've purchased over time. It works so much smoother and quicker than the app I have for my TV. The 'Extra Features' on the content I've purchased are easily available, which isn't the case with the TV version. I added all of the TV apps I use, which was easy and all work superbly. There's also the added bonus of Sky Go, which I wasn't expecting. The performance of the menus are smooth, very quick and very responsive. I had to change the settings for the remote control and disable the touchpad feature. I hated that feature and now it works as a normal control. I bought this to pair with my projector and I cannot praise it enough. Especially the addition of Sky Go. I can now watch Football on a 120" screen :D

I can not explain how practical how easy makes your life this device! * Easy to Setup any of Apple device quick and reliable. * HDMI support and stability is just wonderful. * It is worth every penny! * I did not have any issue by storage so no need to worry. * One of the best things is as you can have any app in AppStore for tvOS, specially access some contents by VPN is another great functionality. * You all need just Apple TV remote automatically you can turn on and turn off your TV. * ALL the best one is "SPEED".. Finally over the slowness of the TV interface. Just as an iPhone.

It seems good so far, a few technical glitches, it was fast and has a good picture. Very small so it's easy to place, the remote is good but very small and could easily be lost unless you have a tracker

Downloaded our favourite apps from a great selection of many, right away too without any issues. Love the sleek look and portability of the compact all-in-one entertainment system unit. This is such a brilliant little TV system. Firstly its surprisingly small and light, so can easily be tucked away out of sight if need be. The only required connections are a power cable and then an HDMI to the TV, so its really easy to set up. Once connected and powered up, the next step is to go through the on screen set up. Apple have done a great job to make this as easy as possible, you simply sign in to your WIFI router and then go through a number of menu options to set the TV box up to your preferences. The remote is a beautiful, solid item that feels great in the hand and is very easy to use. I mentioned earlier that the TV box itself could be tucked away out of sight, the remote is Bluetooth so doesn't need line of sight access to the TV box. Battery life of the remote is excellent, and when charging is needed you can simply use your existing phone charger as it uses a USB C connection 👍 I would suggest connecting a Bluetooth keyboard if you have one for setup, as typing in various passwords for WIFI, your Apple account, BBC account etc. can be tiresome when using the remote. Apples TV OS is a lesson in how an operating system can be advanced yet incredibly easy to use. Even my parents who are both in their mid 70's are happy using it. Picture quality is a decent step up from my previous TV box (BT TV 4K), its also better than the picture I get natively from the apps running on my TV. The same can be said for sound, its improved in all areas. (I recommend using a decent HDMI cable for connection, as this can affect performance) You can also access your photos and music if you're already using other Apple products. So as you can tell, I'm delighted with this. It's a fantastic product offered at an excellent price. I hope you find my review helpful.

Great device. As an android user through and through I was worried about joining Apple. Even without an Apple iPhone etc, once you have created an Apple account the setup is super easy. Most impressive is the speed and picture quality which is crystal clear super colours and sharp. IMHO, much better than an Amazon Firestick 4K Max.

Really fast, supports all major apps and picture quality is very impressive.

Those who likes an ultimate sound and picture quality can buy...I bought it for my Xgimi horizon ultra projector with my Samsung HW Q935D soundbar...both gives the extreme level performance... Picture quality is splendid and sound quality is immersive with Dolby atmos...
