Super easy and quick to put on, warning flashing red light is optional feature that you can switch on for overnight visual deterrent, just need to remember to switch off as it's a manual switch so batteries don't run out (last three months if only on 8 hours a day), the batteries are included. Two keys came with mine. Weight is heavy so solid sturdy bar, and the yellow colour is bright so visually bright and good deterrent to passers by. It fitted on my Micra k11 1999 that has an airbag in steering wheel, so that it's not pressing on it. Just feed bar through the steering wheel and clamp the yellow end on to the outer steering wheel, very quick to secure, and only need key to unlock it. Highly recommend and it's from a reputable maker.

I've owned one of these for well over 10 years, which proves how reliable they are. The only reason I have bought a replacement is because the lock was becoming difficult to lock into place, so it must have been worn out after many years of use. As I'm getting on a bit, this one may last me a lifetime! :) However, yet again, Amazon have listed an item with incorrect information - if you own a Skoda Fabia 1.2 Hatchback, it is likely that the website will state that it "does not fit" your car. Nonsense! This is the EXACT same model of Stoplock as my previous one, and I have driven a 2005 Skoda Fabia 1.2 Hatchback for 16 years, so I can assure you that it fits that model of car perfectly. Amazon ought to provide a way of reporting incorrect information, as you will lose customers if they can't trust your descriptions.

Reviewed August 2022: Bought this as I wanted a visual deterrent to help prevent my Defender from getting pinched. Found this was quite well reviewed, and then found one in Amazon Warehouse for a great price. It is important to get the correct version for your car, and its all about the shape of the steering wheel, and how much room there is to get the lock 'threaded through' and then secured. The locking mechanism doesn't seem that brilliant, its a little fiddly to use, but perhaps that means its fiddly for somebody wanting to pinch my vehicle. There is a flashing red led, which is activated by a sliding switch. I think the instructions said it will last up to 6 months, depending on how much its used. I've not got through a set of batteries yet, but I really like it as a visual deterrent. Its covered in gray plastic which is quite soft, meaning that if its banging around in the back of the car, it shouldn't damage anything. Overall, very pleased with it.

Reassuringly well made steering wheel lock. The robust case and bar is likely to see casual criminals move on to easier vehicles to steel with this fitted. It's easy enough to operate, threading through the wheel, clamping on the other side and making the wheel very difficult to move without its removal. If the bright yellow clamp wasn't bright enough, it has a battery powered LED that blinks every few seconds. i had one on my very first car, lost it when I moved house and this one now secures a Toyota RAV4.

Most cars these days are keyless and feature perimeter scan key fobs, this allows the owner to keep the key fob in their pocket and allows them to start and drive the car. These days, thief's can access peoples cars just by scanning your key fob's codes near the front door of your home with a laptop and start the car and driving it away. This steering lock is highly recommended for such application. By adding this steering lock to your car, it will deter potential thief's from targeting your vehicle. If you were really determined, these steering wheel stop locks can be broken into. Although it would take a time and create some noise. Factors that thief's do not like. It is nice and visible in the car and super easy to use. The only negative with this product is that the yellow clamp section might mark your steering wheel, it doesn't have any padded areas. So depending how the lock is placed on your steering wheel it my scratch or mark it. You could place a mini microfiber cloth around the steering wheel and then clamp the lock which should help protect it. Also, it features a flashing LED to aid night vision awareness and is powered by x2 LR44 coin batteries, they don't last very long (around 3 to 4 months). They should improve on this and make the LED flash for at least a year. It's not very cumbersome and easy to remove and place beside you on the passenger foot well before you drive. Other types are pretty large and can be quite inconvenient Apart from that it's a great product and even though its 90s tech, it could just save your car from being stolen.

order 2 used ones, one arrived with keys so lobbed back to amazon. The other is fine. These wont' stop a determined car thief but it will "hopefully" put most off as it's extra hassle so happy. Also best to buy from amazon as tried it on relatives car for a laugh and it didn't fit their steering wheel but amazon returns are simple so if you have that issue it's easy as hell to send back

The box this item arrived in , had already been open. It looks like it had been opened by someone else,then repacked sent back to amazon then sold to me. The Box had clearly been opened. The item was OK inside. But disappointed as not had anything like this before from amazon.

This one has a curve, which will fit over a protruding airbag. It has high visibility; thieves won’t break my window, then realize I have a steering wheel lock. It attaches and unlocks in 10 seconds. The only disadvantage is the barrel (tubular) key. It is very secure, but costly to duplicate.

se ve que es de 1 clase nada de producto chino,en mi mazda encaja perfectamente,funcionamiento facil se abre con la llave donde esta plastico amarillo,se abre en forma de encajas a el volante,recomiendo primero situar barrote ,dispone d eluz roja asi como de precaucion a posibles infractores
