Well, I don’t see why not. It’s an antibiotic cream so is for infections - but it won’t cure vitiligo. Hope this helps - but if in doubt, check with your pharmacist.

Can this be used when loss of toenail

I don't see why not, it is a very good all round ointment. However, if loss of toe nail is due to a fungus infection it would be better to use a fungal specific ointment.

What is the active ingredient in this cream?

I have no idea, but it’s brilliant! It even works in the presence of pus! I use it on any cut, scratch and it’s soothing and aids the healing, works great on gravel rash too. First came across it in an army medi box, if it’s good for those guys it’s good enough for me
