Woodside Solar Oxygenator Air Pump for Pond - 1.5W Aerator 1 Air Stone Oxygen Pump for Garden, Aquarium Fish Tank

We have a 1.5x1 metre pond, about 1 foot deep. It doesn’t have a fish or a filter but is home to lots of insects & newts. We have several oxygenating plants but found the algae build up got worse this year. We got this oxygenator to help with water conditions. We put the solar panel in a hanging fence pot so it gets the sun all day. Easy to install & understand what goes where. I wish the pipe was black so more discrete but clear is fine. Oxygenator works all day, even in cloudy conditions & provides a strong stream of bubbles without disturbing the newts or pond settlement. Not loud & relaxing sound on the water. Water conditions have significantly improved, very pleased. Would get a device with multiple air stones if we had a bigger pond. Not sure how well it will work in the autumn winter months but would recommend this product

So easy to put together, just beware the pump needs to be housed in a waterproof area - I modified an old takeaway plastic box. In full sun this is a pretty powerful gadget, I ended up buying another two days later because I didn't think one was sufficient for my water garden which is in a trough approximately 3 metres x 1.2 metres and holds around 100 litres of water, I bought it/them to try and keep control of string algae which was getting to be a nuisance and I have to say that used in conjunction with a small bale of barley straw, the algae does seem to be getting weaker. The water somehow smelt immediately fresher when I started using these, not that it was bad before but you can see an improvement in water quality, it's very clear. I'm also quite fascinated by the bubbles on the water surface, they're very soothing to watch. On a very sunny day with no cloud they really do work very hard indeed, obviously with being solar powered the more cloud, the less bubbles but mine do work on days that are overcast with "white" clouds just not as hard. On very dull days they do struggle but this is to be expected!

Just set up and very happy with my purchase easily put together and even though it’s cloudy it is still working well excellent for my small garden water feature..

Excellent. Easy to set up, quiet, keeps going for some time after sun goes down. Perfect for my small wildlife pond. Very pleased with it.

Great little aerator for my small barrel pond, keeping it algae and mosquito free , was easy to put together, I have placed pump in a plastic box under some stones to hide it. Have found it works very well in strong sunlight but even bubbles away when overcast, so I'm very happy, been working away all summer so far , I would recommend this product

I bought this for my koi pond as it's not very big and the water can get quite warm in the summer and needs oxygen injecting. This little pump is good value and surprisingly powerful in full sun. It's very quiet and I can hardly hear it when it's working in full sun, so it won't disturb you peace, or the fish. It still works in overcast weather, but obviously not so strongly as in full sun. I've put it inside a ziplock bag with a hole cut in one end and the zip side open to let in air as the pump is not waterproof. Works well when the sun shines, but be aware that there is no battery, it only works when there is sunshine. If you need an oxygenator that works all the time this one isn't for you. Overall a good value pump that does what it says on the tin.

Excellent value for money, just what I was looking for. Cable and tube are a very decent length and it works well. I had an issue with the spike for the solar panel (one bit came broken) but I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement within the week, excellent customer service.

Seems to work only when the sun shines, not in dull daylight. The solar panel is slightly raised in the corner so may not last long. Have read that the pump could be put in a plastic box to keep rain off, so put a flower pot over it. The airstone though does the job so am satisfied with this product.

Ca marche tres bien en soleil, mais ca marche aussi s'il y a des nuages (un peu moins). Installation facile. Faut penser de proteger la pompe contre la pluie (sous un pot par example) Tres content

Preiswert, und seinen Preis allemal wert. Sobald die Sonne scheint, gibt's Luft im Teich. Kann ich für Teich-freunde nur empfehlen

Installation rapide, fonctionne pour le moment très bien, puissance idéale pour un très petit bassin ( entre 200 et 300l ). Il faudra voir à l'usage, c'est le 3è en 3 ans, les 2 autres n'étaient pas du même fabriquant et plus chers.
