Paul Mitchell Mitch Reformer 85 g (Pack of 1)

I have been buying this direct from my hairdresser for years, but when she made the leap to being self-employed she didn't have the capacity to keep this in stock. So on her recommendation I purchased online. Nice, easy to use wax that does for me!!!

I love the way this product holds my hair in style. It's not sticky, it's easy to apply too.

I have used this product for many years. I usually buy from my hair salon but they had no stock available. I'm really not sure if this product has been "improved" but the quality is not good. When warming in the hands/fingers before applying to ensure the product is smooth, its a nightmare. Its impossible to make into an invisible paste. You are left with little solid bits of wax which can be seen in your hair after styling. Awful.... Will get a pot from my hairdresser when back in stock and hopefully its not the same as this. Not cheap to have to throw away either.

I believe Mitch Reformer to be the superior option of the 3 for my hair and style. I am looking for something that I can style outside the range of 5 seconds after putting it in my hands, something that won't shine my hair at all, something that will hold throughout the day, and something that will rinse off easily. Mitch Reformer does all these things, though not so much hold great throughout the day.The problem with Tigi Bed Head is that it's too sticky and hard to style because of it. It does well with holding throughout the day and leaves my hair with the matte finish, but if I can't style it the way I want, it's not going to pass my test. Rinsing it off takes a little work too, it doesn't come off as easily as the Mitch Reformer.The problem with American Crew Fiber is a couple things. Not only is it too sticky, leaving it hard to style, but it's also a little more shine on my hair than I want. This was by far the worst to rinse off. There is no way I can recommend American Crew Fiber because of these things.The solution I have came up with to make the Mitch Reformer hold a little better throughout the day is touch it with a little hair spray and you're good to go. I would definitely recommend Mitch Reformer out of the 3 products I tried. Definitely the best of the 3. And the smell doesn't bother me at all - I actually kinda preferred it.

Macht eine grandiose Struktur in kurzes Haar, dass es immer ausschaut wie eben perfekt gestylt. Damit ist mann auf der sicheren Seite. Top: es ist matt und glänzt nicht so wie viele Gels und es klebt nicht so wie viele Waxe. Gehört für mich zur taglichen Morgenroutine ... und dann braucht man sich den ganzen Tag keine Gedanken mehr über die Frisur machen. Preislich ebenfalls top aber es ist das wirklich wert (zusätzlich noch sparsam in der Anwendung). Wenn mann es noch noch nicht kennt: unbedingt ausprobieren! (vorallem wenn das mal im Angebot ist)
