CND Shellac (Grapefruit Sparkle)

I have gotten into the habit of buying CND Shellac polishes for my finance and she absolutely loves them. This Sweet Dreams is a very nice soft Pink colour.There is a bit more effort involved with the whole application process and the time taken to apply, dry, re-coat etc. with a UV lamp used for drying and hardening the polish. However when done they look excellent and they last a lot longer too.The price can be a little off putting but you get what you pay for and even though I do not really understand all the nail polishing stuff I have to admit, I have been quite impressed with how good the CND product is.My other half always gets complimented on how good her nails look so that says something.

There seem to be a lot of 'Shellac" type products on the market, but you can't beat the original - and this colour is lovely, particularly if you use it on top of another. Shellac goes on easily, dries to perfection and lasts at least two weeks ... the only reason you need to replace is because your nails will grow. You must follow the instructions and you do need to buy the drier - don't dry your nails for too long or it WILL peel off. You also still need a base and top coat which must also be Shellac. Once you have the kit though you can save so much money by doing this yourself.

Had a professional French Manicure shellac done a few times and wanted a tiny bit of glitter effect just to 'lift' it a little.Decided to do the same at home and chose this -exactly right. I am not keen on strong colour on me and neither do I like to feel texture on my nails.I also prefer translucent to opaque.This just perfect .

Colour very pale, but is good to use over the top of a darker colour, gives a sparkle. Was disappointed though as mine came without a brush, not sure if this was meant to be or a faulty bottle. It came from USA so couldn't be bothered to send back so used my own gel brush to apply. Bottle looked like it had been opened before as had residue gel around top.

Super happy with this colour. It can be built to 3 costs and the colour comes out as more pink with a slight sparkle. Very natural transparent colour. My favourite yet! Thank you.

This looks very nice on its own & probably better with another colour underneath. This supplier was very helpful in replacing the first nail varnish when the first bottle of polish sent was the wrong sort.
