Had the 2013 model when the ps4 came out i did find that the 2013 model came with issue just externally for example the power buttons where extremely sensitive they was not physical buttons i could be playing a game then my dog accidentally turns it off lol with the new slimmer model its much more smaller lighter and has physical buttons i'm glad i went with the slim and not the pro as don't have a 4ktv yes the pro may be better internally but for the price of this for a 1tb hdd you cant go wrong. Earlier this week I decided to take the plunge and finally invest not only in a next gen console but also to enjoy that most hallowed treat: FIFA on release day. I looked at some different retailers who all had this same deal going, but I thought I'd place my faith in Amazon.Friday comes along and my housemate agrees to stay in a wait for the package. 6pm comes, I'm home: no package. Not to worry. 9pm comes. I get worried. I call customer service who GUARANTEE ME that it's not far from my house, and will be with me within the next hour, and in the highly unlikely event of it not arriving, they will call me at 10pm. Okay - not great. Main reason I ordered this is so that I could enjoy it on release day, and 10pm is a bit late to do so. I could have gone to GAME.. no, it's fine. I'm patient.10pm. 11pm. No package. I call customer service, furious at this point. The customer service robot informs me that my options are to reschedule the delivery date or change the address. WHAT. I ask to speak to a supervisor. Just as useless. He now informs me that I should expect PS4 pre-ordered to ensure I received the console and new FIFA on release date (29/9) by no later than THURSDAY 4TH OCTOBER.After some arguing, the best he could offer me is a £20 goodwill refund. £20. He has told me he will put a priority on my delivery for today, but also informed me that he cannot contact the warehouse. Erm. (I also googled the warehouse number for him, but he didn't understand where I was coming from). However, he did still state that it's unlikely to arrive until Thursday and that my refund would take seven days to process if I wanted to cancel, meaning that I wouldn't be able to afford to go elsewhere until it cleared..So crappy customer service, no delivery and I'm probably going to spend today sitting round, imagining what could be, only to be disappointed again. Should've gone to GAME..

Console is quite loud compared to a PC, UI is a bit unfriendly and bland, aliasing poorer than I expected on many games.PSN store is great and selection of games is really good. PS4 exclusives also worth buying the console for. I'd look at getting he PS4 pro instead or if you are playing multiplats the Xbox One X. I'll stick to PC myself for multiplats and graphics.

Product was not as described game was missing and it was not in original packaging as described dissapointed but the price was still good

I was really undecided about purchasing yet another gadget for my son (more technology!) I didn't want him to be sitting in front of a screen all day in his free time. However, I'm not stuck in the past. I realise things have moved on and kids are enjoying these games. Also, considering we have so much rain in the UK and we do often get stuck indoors I'm now very glad I decided to get this for my son for his birthday. He is very happy. One conversation about the importance of outdoor activities and limiting time on the PS4 turned out to be all that was needed. The PS4 is actually fabulous, the effects/graphics are amazing. There are plenty of parental and privacy setting/options when setting it up. Which was thankfully very easy and straight forward. :)

A good price for endless hours of fun for my grandson. He is totally addicted. 1 TB storage means he can play online, do everything a boy has to do with a PS4, I suggest you go for the max storage always to avoid disappointment the 500GB has its limitations

I'm not a big gamer but this is enjoyable, I primarily got it to try the VR which is super.
