Fantastic battery for iphones that support magsafe
Genuinely taken aback how good this is. It's really smart looking, slim, and as light weight as I can imagine a battery being. It just works - charge it via the USBC slot (note a charging cable isn't included) and when charged, just line it up with your phone back cover, and the magnets do the rest. As soon as it's stuck to your phone, it charges. It gets a little warm when charging the phone via wireless charging but that's to be expected from any battery discharging quickly - because this is a 15w 'fast charge' battery, I expected it to get warm. It's never been a problem. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max currently, and it took my phone from around 20% charged up to 90%, whilst I was still using the phone sporadically. HINOVO supply two models, a 5000mah and a 10000mah battery - I went for the 5000mah one as felt the 10000 would be too bulky - and I'm pleased I did, as I wouldn't want it any bigger/heavier. Because of that you only get the one charge from the battery but I think for most people, their use case would be similar to mine - this is a 'top up', not a 'week away without a charger' type of battery. Leave this in your bag or glovebox of the car for an 'always available' charger that you can use without wires, and is always ready to go. Highly recommended - and I rarely say that!

The charge is on
Hi this is a simple no tech review first I am contradicting myself it’s bigger than photos on web site but not as big as I thought it would be so here we go 10000 mah power bank packaging is illustrated and very professional opening the box you see the power bank in a plastic bag lifting the bag out of the box it’s soft is not a clear bag so hides the really nice lines of this power bank(as has been said before it mimics an IPhone 12 and my 12pro)it’s shouts quality has a solid construction has a MagSafe symbol on one side and discreet makes name on the lower part also just below the name are the indicator lights four white which indicates charging levels while charging and level of power in power bank ie lights flashing while charging one through to four when fully charged all four light are steady when attached power bank to your phone a fifth light which is blue illuminates to indicate power bank is charging your phone I charged power bank fully before connecting to my phone as I stated before I have a IPhone 12 Pro it took maybe a couple of hours may a little less 🥴I said it wouldn’t be technical and charged from 19% to 95% and only used half its charge 👍great so my next charge was from 21%to again 95% probably hr/half ( which first changed probably was) so really really great still got one light showing but will recharge power bank now so in conclusion this for me is a great power bank little bit heavy but not too bad most of the time it’s just sitting on a surface Hinovo do a 5000 mah power bank which I think I will purchase it looks thinner so should be lighter to carry sorry guys no photos seller shows enough on its site so if you want a power bank thats quality made looks good but most of all delivers great performance buy the Hinovo 10000 mah I don’t think you will be disappointed 😉

An alright power bank
The design of this product is very nice. It is made of a nice metal material which looks very high quality. This however isn’t the case. The back pushes in when you apply a small amount of force to the back of the power bank, giving the feel that it isn’t very high quality, and potentially weak. In terms of functionality, it charges fairly quickly, and doesn’t heat up too much although it does get a bit hot after a while of charging. It’s fairly thin, and not too heavy, so it doesn’t add too much size or weight to your phone. The size can be seen in the photos (with an iPhone 13 Pro). It’s very easy to use, and comes with an instruction manual. Overall, I’d say it’s a good product, but definitely not as high quality as I had hoped.

Failed after only a few uses
I’ve had this charger for just over two years and only ever needed to use it on four occasions, so even though it’s quite old, in terms of usage, it’s almost new. It is a good size and weight and has a great magnetic attachment, but I’m very disappointed that after only a few uses it has now stopped working, so basically cost me just over £8 per charge. I was expecting it to last quite a while, subject to uses of course, but unfortunately that has not happened. Not a happy bunny, hence the 1 star rating.

Nice power pack
Visually, it a lovely power pack. It doesn’t hold much of a charge though and does get a little too warm when charging the phone.

Very useful for travelling with, no more cables
Very good product and very useful too, no more unsightly cables hanging from your phone when out and about. Provides a strong magnetic connection between the power bank and your phone to ensure that you always have a good charge when you need it. It charged my iPhone 14 Pro whilst travelling although the output wasn't the best and my phone was slower to charge than expected. It still done the job and I would definitely recommend.

Heats up and barely charges (and swells up after a few months!)
While the product looks sleek and feels nice to hold, it isn’t very practical. After charging my iPhone 14 pro from 10 to 30% during usage, it’s warned me about overheating problems and that charging has stopped. Additionally, the battery pack from 10% to just about 35% before it ran out. This product is definitely not worth the money, as it doesn’t even feel safe to use due to the amount of overheating it causes to your device. Update: I decided to stick to it and give it a try e better try. After a few months of usage, the battery is swelling up and the power bank does not attach to my iPhone 14pro as well anymore. I will need to stop using this to avoid damaging my device, and I strongly advise against buying this as it poses as a health and safety hazard.

I love the look of this MagSafe charger, seeing the guts is really interesting to me. On the other side is a mirror that i hope doesn’t scratch easily but will show smudges. I think a brushed metal finish would have been more practical. Also, a lot of the backup batteries i have usually have better battery indicators, usually 5 dots so you can gauge better how much of a charge is remaining. The capacity of this would generally be able to charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max (4353mAh) one time. Price is a little high for the just 5000 mAh. Another issue i also experienced is the physical size. It doesn’t sit flush on the back of my phone and sits on the lip of my case’s camera lens protector. This may be a problem for smaller phones. I do like the magnet strength. Even thought it isn’t sitting completely flush on the back of my phone, it is still secure and charges quickly. Overall, it’s still a cool charger and interesting to look at. I’ll grab it when i need a charge and won’t be near my regular charging stations.

This thing is so cool to look at and charges super fast ! The thought and attention to detail extends to the packaging as well, and for an affordable price

As a tech enthusiast and an avid user of Apple devices, I was excited to get my hands on this power bank. The charger has a 5000mAh battery capacity, making it an ideal companion for my iPhone 14. In addition, its MagSafe battery pack compatibility and PD 20W & 15W wireless charging make it a versatile accessory for multiple Apple devices. At first glance, the charger is a sleek and stylish device with a metal design and transparent exterior. However, upon closer inspection, I found that the magnetic attachment system needed to be stronger. In addition, while it securely held my iPhone, I found that moderate movement could cause it to detach. The device performed reasonably well regarding charging speed. I was able to set up my iPhone 14 Pro Max quickly, and I appreciated the convenience of charging my phone wirelessly. However, I noticed that the charging speed slowed when multiple devices were connected to the power bank. One issue I had with the charger was its size. While advertised as a portable charger, I found it bulkier than anticipated. Its 4.1 x 2.3 x 0.6 inches dimensions made it a bit cumbersome to carry around in my pocket. Overall, I have mixed feelings about the power bank charger. While it certainly has some great features, such as its MagSafe compatibility and fast charging speed, some drawbacks cannot be ignored. For example, its weaker magnetic attachment system and bulkier size make it less convenient than other portable chargers I process. In conclusion, while the charger has impressive features and performs reasonably well, some may have better options. If you are looking for a portable charger that is both versatile and easy to use, this device may be worth considering. However, if you prioritize convenience and a stronger magnetic attachment system, you may want to look for other options.
