Better than any cream & good for more than scars...
I don’t usually write reviews as long as this but this is such a great product I thought it warranted it. I have been using this for a long time and can’t rate it high enough. Having a medical condition that has resulted in multiple ops & so multiple scars plus 3 kids ( = the ‘joy’ of stretch marks) too: I was desperate for something to stop me looking like a map of the London Underground and this has been perfect. About the oil The oil it’s self is lovely and light. The bottle is quite small but a little goes a long way - far more than standard base oils. Although I wish it was available in bigger sizes I get round this by Amazon’s multi buy deals as they come up. The aromas with this version is lovely and unlike most coconut based/scented products, it doesn’t leave you smelling like a ‘Bounty Bar’! There is a rose hip scented version too, although personally, i dislike it. It’s has a lovely feel to it & once on your skin it doesn’t make you feel like you have a smeared layer of lard over you (unlike many raw coconut or petroleum jelly based balms & oils)!! Your skin absorbs it so quickly and greedily you would think you have never moisturised it before! I believe there is another version specifically for facial use but used sparely, I have found this version excellent even on my face and would not buy another kind. I now use this oil at least twice a day, everyday, and not just for scars anymore ( see below) I find it works best immediately after a shower/wash on wet skin as seems to lock the water in. It’s Uses NB It’s doesn’t work miracles - don’t expect scars/marks to disappear! What it does it :- - make your skin supple , reduces redness and inflammation of causes , soothes soreness caused by anything from abrasions to excema. - Used on scars and stretch marks it reduced the severity of both & aids healing and impact of existing ones. - I used it before and after pregnancy which was relaxing and the babies enjoyed being massaged through my tum! I only discover it o on my 2nd pregnant and was I had know about it soon as it helped prevent stretch marks and really aided the ones that did occur, making them them feel and very quickly, look better (which has been commented on by friends) - When bread feeding, I used them on my breasts before , during & after and I believe it helped retain their shape and reduced the post breastfeed sag! I also found it helped prevent and/or soothe soreness at the beginning of breastfeeding, particularly if mixed with calandula cream between feeds. - NB Obviously please check with your l doctor or midwife that’s it’s safe for you as I am neither! As I have dry skin, I dab a very small amount over my makeup when finished which doesn’t effect cover . This gives me a slightly dewy look (as with dry skin matt products just make me look 5 years older.) It also stops makeup ‘clumping’ or flaking around dry areas around my nose. It’s incredibly light and doesn’t make your skin greasy at all. I use Dove ‘Derma Spa Summer Revived’ at night for a touch of colour ( which also helps covers scars) and using the oil on the morning brings out the glow nicely . Unusual uses ! - I dye my hair and use this (mixed with a less expensive oil like almond or olive) combed through my hair the night before bleaching which stops breakage even though dye my hair platinum. - I also use it once a week a a treatment and after moisturising my body I used the film left on my hand by running it if my hair which stops it looking frizzy and shape gives texture likes light wax! - My medicine can cause my nails to become hard and my toenails were previously prone to slight fungal infection, leaving them looking slightly yellow. Both problems have been resolved by this as the oil is great rubbed in into cuticle and nails making them look healthy shiny. Once a week I add a couple of drops of tea tea oil to the oil in my hand, rub into my toenails which had stoped all traces of infection See what I mean? I could even write more but you have probably got the idea!

Miracle oil !! great for pigmentation on skin
Simply the best oil for maturing skin. I suffered with dark patches, hyper pigmentation on my face for a few years, brought on by age and hormonal changes along with too much open coverage in the sun, also being of mixed race origin would have contributed a little. I tried a lot of products as the dark patches were quite defined. Nothing worked, I then started to use this product some 8 years ago and I would say after about 6 months of using daily, morning and night the marks disappeared and have never returned. I put this down to the use of this miracle oil and also shading my face when out in the sun especially on holidays which is an important factor to helping with combating my issue. The oil itself is easily absorbed and not greasy with a light fragrant smell. It has become an important part of my daily routine ever since.

Fantastic Product
I love this serum. It works wonderfully - my mum used to use it on me (or something very similar also made by Palmer's) when I was little to help get rid of all the bumps I used to get - so when I had my third baby and got loads of stretch marks on my tummy, it was the first thing I turned to. I have been using it for two weeks now (three times daily, as instructed) and my stretch marks are virtually gone, I will continue to use it long after my stretch marks are gone because it feels lovely on my skin. It also smells lovely. I would recommend it to anyone. It is also a great price on here.

You need to use lots!
I have been using this for pregnancy related stretch marks. Stretch marks are genetic and I am prone to them. I initially used the Palmer's moisturiser for the first 5months of pregnancy and this worked well but I found once I started forming stretch marks it wasn't up to scratch. I swapped to this oil and I think it hasade a difference. Within a few hours of putting this on the newly formed marks are less red and it helps to soothe any itchiness I'm feeling. I have been using it religiously twice daily. It is a bit messy and does leak through clothing and onto bed sheets. The scent isn't too strong but might upset those with morning sickness. I have been getting through a lot, around 1 bottle per month. I am hoping it will help post-partum to regain some skin elasticity and reduce the stretch marks further.

Just OK
I've used the Palmers cocoa butter lotion previously, which is an excellent moisturiser, but I'm disappointed that this doesn't have any effect on my skin. The fragrance is not overpoweringly chocolate based; leaves a slight cocoa smell on the skin. It soaks in quite well and is OK for a massage oil, but I will not buy again. Bio Oil is much more effective and smells lovely so I won't be switching brands.

I love this oil for my soon to be 66 year old skin! I use it everywhere. It’s noncomedogenic so great for the face. I’ll use a sunblock over it in the summer. It’s silky soft and has evened out some rough spots. I’ve always had little bumps on my arms and they are completely gone. Good for around the nails and cuticles. It’s definitely an oil, but your skin will drink it in quickly and you’re left with a beautiful smooth feel. There’s not much scent to it and what is there is very nice. Please give it a try … it’s wonderful.

very amazing product, I've been using and planning to order again. So far, it improves my skin tone and helps with scars & dark marks. I don't know if it works perfect for other skin color but if you're melanin-rich (African), this product is best for face, body, scalp and beard. I made my research before going for it.

Does the job
