Customer service restored!
Updated review: I received a letter today from the CEO of the company apologizing for their mistake and making things right for me. I really appreciated the sincere apology, not making any excuses and just taking ownership of my issue, and based on his letter and response I feel like the issue I was having was probably a rare occurrence and they do indeed strive for good customer service. As I said originally, the Precision Pro products are very good quality and given the letter and apology I received today I would buy from them again.Original review: The actual product is really nice. It grabs the pin pretty easily and produces consistent, accurate, yardage. The magnetic holder is really strong. Part is the Precision Pro "value" was free lifetime battery replacement. I liked the product and the idea of free batteries so much I bought 2.Now come time to order that free battery. The ordering process was quick and easy. On July 25 (the weeks from the day of this review) I ordered. So far, no battery, it's not even shipped as far as I can tell, I've tried to get customer support multiple times. One time I asked for help on my order and their response was simply "click this link to order a battery". Several other times it's been "we're sorry. The other is now shipped. Check your email for status." And as you may have guessed, that status still says it isn't shipped. Last interaction I was told it's a warehouse problem. So, I've all but given up on getting the battery. I realize the battery is probably $8 and I can just get one on my own, but don't offer it if you aren't going to follow through. I would advise anyone that might want to buy this that if their customer service can't handle a request as simple as "where is my very simple order" then consider what it might be like if you had a bigger problem....

Absolutely worth the investment/savings!
For a couple of hundred dollar investment, you want to be pleased with your purchase... I sure am and have nothing but good things to say about this Rangefinder, though I do have 1 observation that may help you. First, I really thought that the 'top-line-brands' that cost 1.5x to 2x more had some intrinsic quality/feature that distinguished it from the NX9. After 10 or so rounds, I can't imagine what they'd be. This product does just what it says it will, quickly, easily, and with accuracy about 98% of the time (probably 1 or two times a round, I'll shoot a number that is wildly and clearly wrong; without having to move or turn on/off or re-focus I can re-shoot and get the real number - - - I reckon I can chalk this up to 'operator error').My observation is that the slope/distance calculator is an extra that one day will actually benefit me (at this point, I'm not good enough to take advantage of knowing my approach is 163 yards but it 'plays like' 158... interesting, yes. Actionable, not really. It has validated that my perception of needing to drop or add a club due to large elevation changes is pretty accurate. So consider, based on how many different courses you play, whether this is really needed and worth the extra $.Finally, FOR YEARS, I debated whether I really needed a range finder given fairway markers and a very simple (old) Garmin watch that gave me front/middle/back distances. I now know that the answer is 'yes'... in one simple, 7 second, step I know how far I need to hit it, eliminating a) the time expended finding stakes/fairway markers, walking off steps, getting center-of-green distance and then TRYING to account for + or - for pin locations to choose the right club and b) knowing where NOT TO HIT IT to safely stay out of creeks, bunkers, trees (which too shoots accurately).

Precision Pro NX9 - Arguably the best rangefinder money can buy!
My VERY EXPENSIVE Leupold GX-4 Rangefinder failed and I sent it back to the manufacturer for warranty service on January 27th. On March 5th when I still hadn't heard a word from Leupold, I decided to purchase a Precision Pro NX 9 Rangefinder on Amazon and received it in time for my March 8th golf trip to Punta Cana. The Precision Pro worked extremely well and it cost a fraction of the price of the Leupold that failed. IT was extremely accurate and locked in on the pins quickly. Bt the way, I found out today (3/21/23) that the "Leupold Lifetime Warranty" doesn't apply to golf rangefinders. If you are in the market for a great rangefinder, go with the Precision Pro NX9. Absolutely no need to waste a lot more money on a poorer quality product that a manufacturer may not stand behind when a problem arises. If you are a serious golfer, or even a casual golfer, who wants a quality rangefinder, the Precision Pro NX9 is the way to go. You won't be sorry you did.

Nice range finder
This is a well made range finder. It is easy to aim and very accurate. The magnet works very well and the unit is tough.

Does the job you need it to do!
This is a replacement to the NX7 pro slope. Really enjoy the magnet and it has only fallen off once due to serious jarring going over some pretty rough terrain. Other then that it has handled many of the normal bumps on the course. Worked just fine after falling off too! Feels good in your hand and is very quick to give its number. Have to shoot more then once to make sure you are hitting your target to confirm the number but the vibration is nice. Just vibrates on every object not just the flag. Slope is good and works pretty well with glasses. The slope is in the upper right hand so I have to move it a little to see the slope in view while wearing my glasses but for the price and quality it is worth the minor hassle.

Perfect
Golf where there are hills and slopes. Right on target and distance. Verified distances with other players range finders, golf watches and club carts. Light weight and easy to use. Great price for even greater performance.
