Game changer
This thing saved me. I simply ran out of USB ports on the back of my computer and also wanted to clean up the appearance of my computer space. Utilizing the extra ports on my monitors simply wasn't pretty. Everyone likes to hide the cords, right? It doesn't help that some Corsair products have very thick USB cables that are difficult to plug in beside each other (keyboard in particular).I used some heavy duty double sided tape to attach this hub to the back of my desk and have so far plugged 7 different cords and dongles into it. Tadaa! I don't even need to have the USB on my monitors powered anymore, so that actually allowed me to put some cords away for good. Everything looks so much cleaner with all the cables tucked way down behind my desk.Everything works as you'd expect, just like plugging it into the back of your computer. I didn't have to make any adjustments. The hub shuts off by default when the computer shuts off, so all your little led lights and such don't stay on all the time. It's great for any device that doesn't require power 24/7. If you have an external drive that you want to keep running, perhaps you can play with some settings (BIOS?) or just plug it in elsewhere.Speaking of LED lights, the blue lights on this are not too bright. This is good in my opinion. I don't want bright blue lights lighting up the room or clashing with the custom ARGB lighting of my computer. So, thank you for keeping it subtle. This hub does exactly what it needs to. It's perfect in my opinion. Buy it. Also do what I did and get some quality double sided tape to keep it secure (and hidden).

Cool
The outer case is very sturdy. I've discovered that I quite like the ability to switch off/on individual inputs. My data transfer rates do not appear to suffer. This cleaned up my desk quite a bit AND I don't have to crawl around to get behind my pc case with a flashlight any more... big win in my book. Being able to rapidly switch between devices makes my life more productive and lessens the 'chore' side of things. Decent product, reasonably priced. Shipped timely and well protected by Amazon with packing materials.

Cannot get this device working with any of my external CD-ROM drives
I cannot get this device working with any of my external CD-ROM Drives.I would like to connect several external CD-ROM drives to my computer. I know they need powered USB ports, so I thought this device would be perfect. However, it does not appear to provide sufficient power any of the drives. I have tried more than one brand of drive, none work through this device but, they all work when plugged directly in the machine. One of the drives has two USB plugs one for data and one for power. If I plug the data USB in this device and the power USB in the machine my drive works; so it is not the USB protocol version and is probably due to this device not providing enough power. Also, I have tried plugging devices into multiple ports none of them work. They do light up when their enable/disable button is pressed. The whole purpose and marketing of this device seems to be for use cases like mine but, it simply does not work. This is a very expensive device and I feel as if I was scammed. Will not be buy anymore Rosonway products.

So far so good! And good looks to boot!
Nice unit. My first purchase of this brand. Exterior quality feels decent. Can get rather warm with heavy use.The switches are nice but I see how they could accidentally get pressed if careless. The lights look pretty cool, but can be hard to see if you are not at the right angle. I had to flip it around from my original arrangement as I couldn’t see them at all originally. On the plus side the lights don’t light up the whole room like most other devices— a plus for me and worth the minor difficulty of making sure I am looking at the proper angle when I need to know.If looks are important to you, I think this is the nicest looking hub I have ever owned. Generally I am more interested in performance and convenience. I haven’t done rigorous performance testing but I seem to be doing pretty well, with acceptable speed. not sure if I’m getting 10 gbps or not. Convenience I gIve 5 stars but this design may not be for everyone. I’m fine with the port spacing as I am used to other units with similar spacing. At times it’s minorly difficult to pull out a cable if adjacent cables are not cooperating, nothing insurmountable. Some fatter usb sticks could be a problem, but my sandisk extreme units are fine.It has tamed my usb jungle a bit. It is certainly the best looking device in the jungle! I may need to buy some fancier cables!

Great USB 3.1/3.2 Hub
I needed to upgrade the amount of USB ports at my desk since my tower is behind me on another desk and this hub works perfect for this. Not only does it have 13 ports, but the ports are also 3.1/3.2 compatible which allows for way faster speeds than 3.0. It also comes with a USB-C cable to connect it to your computer to ensure higher transfer speeds. Currently, I have about 10 accessories plugged into this hub, including a USB-A 4k camera and everything is working great; I haven't had any issues. Great hub!
