Great product, I use when I’m waiting for my hair appointment to have my roots done. 💯 coverage on greys, even my hairdresser thought I’d dyed my hair! It can feel tacky but well worth it for the coverage.

Exactly as described

The instructions are clear and the product is quite easy to use, but I would still have a practice to get the hang of it. Spray lightly at first and build up rather than going in heavy handed. I used it on 'lockdown roots' of around three months re-growth and I would say that it is not ideal for this amount of coverage. This is because it took the shine off my hair and looked dull, not a problem if your only trying to cover a small amount of root growth. The product felt like I'd put hairspray on and took the shine off in a similar way. The instructions said that it doesn't come off until you wash it out, unfortunately when I used it a small amount stained my fingers if I touched it. They also stated that it washed straight out, but mine took several washes to take it out and even then there was still a tinge of colour left. All that said this product covers grey well and is perfect for a temporary fix on a small amount of root regrowth.

i was very pleased with how well this worked. my roots were a mess very grey and although i had an appointment booked it was after a planned weekend away as hairdresser was in holiday. i bought this not really expecting much but it was really effective. I got the brown colour which worked well for my hair colour (brown with blonde highlights) i possibly could have gone lighter to dark blonde but the brown was absolutely fine. really worth the money in my opinion

I don't know how I survived before discovering this product!! Every six weeks I would have to dye all my hair just to cover up the roots - it was boring, time consuming and not all that good for my hair. Then I discovered Magic Retouch and now I can go without having to dye my hair for up to three months because I can just cover up the grey roots in seconds. The colour matches my brown hair pretty well and if I do get it on my skin it's easy to wipe clean. I appreciate this sounds like a corny advertisement for this product (and I don't work for L'Oreal!), so here are some downsides to balance my review: - the colour comes off fairly easily on pillows, hats and anything else that comes into contact with it (but it washes out easily) - the nozzle either shoots colour out of the can at lightning speed or it comes out as a dribble (which ends up down your hand and over your face). I do wish there was greater control over the pressure - hair can feel a bit rough when the product is on - my fringe for example tends to get a bit frizzy But these downsides are nothing compared to how easy this product makes it for me to cover up my greys without having to go through the rigmarole of regular dyeing - so for that alone, I am its biggest and greatest fan!

Love this product! It saves the day so often - great hair days even on bad hair days

Does work and perhaps adds and extra week before retouch with dye needed. In my view best for minimal greys in dark hair, on parting and around face.
