Does this battery have the orange dot? All my genuine Fuji batteries do.

All genuine Fujifilm NP-W126S batteries have the orange dot. NP-W126 batteries should have an orange square.

Will this battery fit and not burn out a X-T1 camera?

It will work better. It is the same capacity as the non-S version. It generates less heat as it gives out that power. This makes the X-T2 work better when doing 4K video. For the X-T1 it will also produce less heat, but not really needed. It is more expensive.

Area these genuine? The brand section says Instax.

Mine seemed genuine or an extremely high quality copy , but bear in mind this is the NP-W126 and not the later NP-W126S version.
