Excellent Ant killer!
Tried many different Ant products but this one works brilliantly. You just need a little dab near where you see Ants and they then feed off it taking it into the colony. No more ants! Will buy again once this runs out.

Got rid of devil pharaoh ants
I’m reviewing both this product and the Deadfast 20300502 Ant Killer Plus Bait Station 3 x 4g because it was the combination of the two that got rid of our ant problem. We were dealing with pharaoh ants - those tiny tiny devils from hell - so this review is focused on these types of ants.Because these small devils are so tiny they literally get everywhere - they even managed to find their way INSIDE a jar of honey that had been shut right, and in my oven and fridge!!!They gave us hell for several weeks.I first used the bait stations to deal with inside the cupboards. These worked well to clear the ants from the cupboard (it took a few days plus clearing out, cleaning and sealing everything for them to stop coming altogether, outside of the odd one or two stragglers). For harder areas like the bathroom, around the kitchen door, and generally anywhere they march up and down where there is no direct access to food, we used the combat gel to bait and kill the ants. This worked a treat! One minute there were 4 or 5 trailing up and down; the next minute there were 30-40 gorging on the bait food! By the next day, most of the bait had been eaten with several dead bodies scattered around as evidence. After several weeks of repeating this on various “traffic” sites, the ants got less and less until now - around 2 months on - they’re practically all gone!I say practically because every now and again we see one or two pop up (usually in the bathroom), but I suspect these are the lone rangers from the now dead clans who will eventually die off from loneliness and hunger (I read something like this on the Internet). So all in all, I’m pleased with both of these products. It’s always nice when something works as it should!

Not bad for the price
I called pest control because this year the ants were all over downstairs (not limited to one room this time) and they put down advion ant gel. That is the best gel product on the market as it draws all ants (even fire ants) to it but it’s extremely expensive and after 2 hot days it dried up so ants weren’t interested in it. The ants had reduced but then started coming back en masse. I did some research and found this product. Initially when I put it down the ants (black/brown) didn’t take to it, which made me realise maybe they’re sugar ants as this is a protein bait. So I injected a tiny blob out and before putting it in their trail I sprinkled some granulated sugar over it then place a blob down. Left the room with lights off and when I came back a few mins later during mid morning, many had flocked to this sugary blob and were sticking themselves to it like their life depended on it. So I placed a left more blobs down along their trail, an inch or so away from this blob. Went out and came back in the evening and saw 1 ant. Then the next morning no ants. I haven’t seen any since and that was 2 weeks ago. I’ve since tried to use it outside and it’s helped me eradicate an outdoor nest that was trying to move indoors (again notably effective once I sprinkled sugar over it over a sink before placing it down). If it doesn’t work for you immediately then try the sugar trick. And if that doesn’t work then try advion - it is pricey but never fails, you just have to reapply it if it dries up.

Incredible stuff!
We have suffered from ants invading the kitchen and living room, plus other downstairs rooms for years, from multiple nests. We’ve tried traps, with limited success and sprays which kill many quickly and helps create a barrier for a while, but they only have limited success. I expected similar from this, but I became aware of this after reading a test from multiple solutions and this was at the very top.I applied this near 2 nests and the ants couldn’t get enough of the gel. They spent hours consuming the lot, even the next morning there were perhaps a hundred or so just consuming this gel, even while a lot of ants were dead nearby. The next afternoon after application, there were 1 or 2 ants about, but since then we have seen none. 3 or so days without seeing even 1 ant later and I feel confident enough to claim it to be a revelation and I feel confident that this is all we’ll ever need should there be a recurrence of ants again as long as it’s available to buy.

Ant Killing Gel
Not impressed I'm afraid. It says to put small spots around the areas, but you have to push the plunger down hard and it shoots out all over the place, great globbles. Looks very messy to look at too, although I'd sooner have that if it gets rid of the buggers. Will do another Review when they seem to go, but I must admit that peppermint oil works a treat. They can't stand the smell of anything like that, but especially peppermint oil.Edited 11th May 2024Well, I bought another one and nothing. As said above, you have to press the plunger down really hard and it shoots out everywhere. Not got rid of any ants and it leaves horrible marks which you can't get rid of which we found out when we had ants in our conservatory. Also this one could not possibly have been full as it only lasted a couple of times with short spurts. Rip off I reckon. Save your money.

Works at first, lost it's edge after the stated period.
I brought this after reading the reveiws thinking it would be the best to get in order to get rid of my Pharaoh ant infestation. It worked wonders in the first week, they were only attracted to the gel and clearly taking it back and it was kiling the nest off. They were reduced in numbers quite a fair bit, but after about a month or so, they've started to come back in numbers and they wont go near it at all...
