Combat Indoor and Outdoor Ant Killing Gel, 27 Gram

I woke up one morning to find in the recent heat, some ants running round in the corner of the lounge, tracked them back to the hall under the front door. Didn’t have anything to deal with them so googled it and tried 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water in a spray, round the area, while waiting for my delivery of Combat. But that didn’t work so tried some powder which was also useless I then as you will see put polyfilla all along the skirting board where there was small gaps. The next day my order arrived from Amazing Amazon and straight away put tiny dots of the gel along the skirting board and outside the front door where they were coming in. It was unbelievable the amount of ants that rushed to eat this gel, and because it is slow acting it doesn’t take effect till they arrive back at the nest. The next morning there was not even one ant in my house, such a big relief and so effective, it was like magic. I took a photo so you could see what I was dealing with below. If you have any problems don’t hesitate to buy this it is so effective and don’t need to use much just let the ants feed on it for as long as they like around an hour then they are gone.

It's a good sized tube of ant killer. Yes it can be a bit difficult to keep flow of liquid under control, and it will come out a lot faster than desired, but wow it works! Put in out in a few places on Tuesday afternoon, Thursday there isn't a single ant roaming around, just lots of dead ants near where the killer was placed.

This stuff is fantastic. I've tried various ant killing products and I swear the ants just dont care. This stuff though is different. So I've had this issue where when its hot hundreds if not thousands of ants manage to get in by my french doors in the kitchen. I've tried bait stations, sprays, powders etc but none of these solutions seemed to work for me. This stuff on the other hand has so far, worked brilliantly. First of all getting the con out of the way. When you first use it, a big amount will spray across the room because of the pressure. This isn't ideal and means you waste some. Therefore I'd recommend you point it down in the direction of the ants so its at least not being wasted. Moving on to the pros. Within 10mins of being down, I had hundreds if ants surrounding this nectar style gel. They clearly love it. By morning, it had all been taken away. Only time will tell if it kills the nest (I hope so!) but so far this has worked far better than anything else I've used. Would happily buy again if needed compared to the other products I've used. I've got far less ants today but it does say it takes a few days for the process of getting back to the nest and killing the queen. Overall, quite happy. Just wish it didn't squirt out at the start causing you to lose a percentage of the already small amount.

Ants are certainly attracted to it, which is good as it is not cheap stuff and there is not as much as I expected in the syringe. This is the second lot I have bought and it does kill the ants but we have a lot of them!

So brought this as has thousands of ants in hallway in block of flats. Ants where highly attracted to the gel and have overnight taken it all back to there nest. Minimal ant activity today.

not a single ant was attracted to this. I put it all around their trails and they just walk around it. I was also expecting a much narrower tip to the syringe so I could actually inject it into a crack. this stuff just falls out of the tube in big blobs.

I brought this after reading the reveiws thinking it would be the best to get in order to get rid of my Pharaoh ant infestation. It worked wonders in the first week, they were only attracted to the gel and clearly taking it back and it was kiling the nest off. They were reduced in numbers quite a fair bit, but after about a month or so, they've started to come back in numbers and they wont go near it at all...

I've used this several times now and it's excellent. Just spot a few blobs down in key through areas where the ants are and within a few days to a week then entire colony is gone. Please note you're unlikely to see results same day, you must leave it up to a week to work but once it they're gone they stay gone unlike some of the powders. Must let the ants carry the poison back to their nest to kill the queen and eggs etc for it to work so let the ants do their thing initially without killing the carriers. Worth the extra wait.

I’ve had a really good experience with this ant gel. It’s easy to use and works well for those little ants that seem to show up out of nowhere. I like that I can put a small amount where I notice them instead of having to spray everything. It’s been really helpful around the house and definitely something I like keeping on hand.

Works very well, and lower price per quantity than others

I buy most of my products buy the product description and the review's. The product descriptions does not discriminate between what ants it will kill and what ant it won't. The review's mention Pharaoh ants several times that's is why I purchased it. On opening the packaging in small print it says excludes Pharaoh ants. Totally useless to me now and I bought two packets.

I had sugar ants really bad in my bathroom.. specifically the tub.. I tried calling professionals to help with the issue, sprays and nothing really helped for more than a day.. I put the combat gel in a few spots around my tub and left it overnight and into the next day..it wà incredible how many ants it drew out . By the second day all the sugar ants were gone.. I plan to retreat every few months ..im really happy with the product and will absolutely be buying again!

I used to buy the Raid Ant Gel, which worked great, but I don't see it for sale anymore. I was afraid that there ended up being some sort of safety issue with that product and they took it off the market. I saw this Combat version for sale, and I was afraid it was some "safer", watered-down version, but I gave it a try, and it worked just as well as the Raid. Ants were gone in 2 days. My only gripe is that they've done something to the plunger on the dispenser, so that it "clicks" as you depress it, and it's harder now to control how much of the gel you are squirting out. You end up using more than you need. It's probably by design.
