A great product and value for money
I have several different sizes of these jars and havenāt been disappointed in any of them. These particular jars are now filled with my basmati rice, sealed and stored away. I purchased a 10kg bag of rice, popped it in the freezer for 5 days in original bag. I sterilised the jars on Monday, the bag filled 7 of them, popped into oven to seal and left overnight to cool. Yesterday I labelled them and put them away under my stairs in a cool, dark cupboard. As there is only two of us they will keep us going for about 2yrs and theyāll stay as fresh as they are now. I will be buying more of these soon. Iām happy to recommend both the jars and the selleršš

Beautiful and versatile jars
These jars arrived very promptly and the packaging was excellent. The jars look beautiful and have the perfect size to store veggies, fruits, grains or to enjoy your favourite smoothie - I love the versatility of them (if you google mason jar recipes you'll come across 100s of options)! The quality seems very good as well, the jars are sturdy and the lid closes tightly. I'm so glad I've purchased them, highly recommended!

Value for money!
I'm very impressed with my new mason jars. They all came entacted, no breakage, and fast delivery! I live in ireland, so I had to get them delivered to Northern ireland and then down to the Republic, through parcel motel. So very happy. Plus, there was a little leaflet with recipes to put in the mason jars. Definitely value for money!

"Wide" Mouth or "Regular"?
Carefully check the description of the jars, there are "regular mouth" and "wide mouth" I did not order the type I wanted, but kept them anyway. They are good jars that will last a long time. If you shop around you might get them cheaper somewhere else, especially if you live near shop that carries them

Excellent product
I have home preserved fruit jams and chutney etc for many years. I used old jars and wax disks. This year after a stay in U.S. with friends have been drawn to using these preserving jars. They are an excellent product and am now building up my own store of theses jars. Easy to use with full instructions if required. Will certainly be buying again. This purchase arrived very well packaged and before due date, which worked out well as I have just harvested my plum treeš

Perfect for salads
I bought these to make up my salad jars for the week. Having read about mason salad jars, I decided to give these a go. They are excellent quality, perfect sized jars for fitting in all my salads, which I can now prepare on a weekend ready for the week. I received them very quickly and they were very well packaged. Well worth the money.

Regular Mouth Jars 60mm inner opening
These are great, and as expected. I am new to fermenting so searching for jars was painful and confusing, as I was really unsure on the measurements and was trying to pair with weights and plastic lids. So I learned the Regular Mouth jars have a 60mm INNER opening, and the lids that go with it measure about 70mm since they have to, of course, be wider adding in the thickness of the glass and screw lines. I ordered weights that were 2.68in / 68mm and of course they don't fit in this jar, you have to get the wide mouth jars (which weren't available) or smaller 58mm weights. The "Wide Mouth" jars measure 70mm INNER opening, and lids are about 80mm wide. Of course that is the Ball brand jars, I think Kilner has different size standards, so beware. Everyone must be fermenting at the moment. Stock seems limited!
