EDIT: Customer service reached out after my review posted. So, the slider does come off! There is a tiny blurb about this in the pictures at the top of the product page, but nothing about how to do this in the description.Having the instructions on slider removal in the product description would be very useful and might have saved me $$ since the cup and lid have both been trashed.I did love the mug, and knowing the lid can be thoroughly cleaned, I will probably purchase a new one.This was a great travel mug for almost a year, then while washing, I realized that there was mold under the slide. There is absolutely no way to get the underneath clean! Unfortunately, into the trash it went.If you ever make lids with magnetic slides that can be removed and cleaned, I might contemplate purchasing another.For the price of having to replace this when the slider gets cruddy, I might as well purchase a Yeti with an easily cleaned lid.

Swig Life is one of my absolute favorite brands for tumblers, and this experience only made me love this company more. I ordered this blue crab tumbler as a birthday present to myself, and when it came in, I was in love with the print.Unfortunately though, there was an issue with the lid and it was leaking, which is not an issue I’ve had with other tumblers. I reached out through their site and filed a claim, and they quickly sent me a replacement lid. The tumbler is now perfect, and I’m so happy. Amazing customer service!These tumblers are great on the go and are truly leakproof. They are sturdy and keep your hot drinks hot and your cold drinks cold for a long time. And cleaning them is a breeze. I’ll definitely be buying more tumblers from this brand!

I love Swig cups but the lids are a beast to keep clean. There are areas of the lid I cannot get any type of brush or cloth into to clean. I got this particular cup as a gift for my sister. I came in just a thin amazon delivery bag (you know the white one). I am amazed that it didn't get bent on its journey to me especially with it being during the busy holiday season. Would be nice to pack in a box or at least one of the bubble wrap bags. Love the design and color.
