So... is this product genuine? Why so much cheaper than usual!

The ink I received is certainly genuine. It comes direct from Japan which is perhaps why it is cheaper than UK stockists

is it a permanent ink?

As I can see yes. I write with these ink on 80 g paper and I don't see it pales.

This is a mix-up of labels: take-sumi is black of pine soot, and chiku-rin is bamboo green. Double check details at Amazon checkout if you intend to purchase.
