Game changing
I have had terrible skin for years (I'm in my 30s), mainly hormonal acne and have found most creams just dry out my skin making it sore and cracked. I started using this on a total whim because it was a reduced to clear item in a store. I've been using it 1 month and my skin is the best it has been for as long as I can remember. It has reduced the spots and redness so much. My skins is clearer, looks better and feels so much more comfortable. I have previously tried everything from prescription, natural, clinic based treatments to expensive products and cheap products but this has honestly been game changing. I really recommend anyone with bad skin to consider this product. I can't say if it will work for you, but I'd certainly give it a go. I haven't found anything quite like it one the market before. Its a cream, although it doesn't dry or moisturise. Apply it twice a day of clean skin. I suspect the pot will last me 2 months.

Check used by date
Bought because I had a bit of hormonal acne after having my baby. The product is great and my skin cleared in a couple of weeks. However I bought it on the 16th April 2025 and on the box the used by date is 04/2025 which was covered up by a sticker which actually says new on it which makes me feel like it's tried to be cover up.

Didn't work for me
For reference, I have moderate hormonal acne. I used this nightly and didn't see much of a difference when using it. It states on the back of the bottle that you can only use it for 30 days so I wouldn't recommend going beyond that. Personally it didn't work for me, but it may be worth a try if you have a different type of acne.

Last of the stock
Just a note to say that this product has been discontinued and this is the last of the final stock. It’s low price must reflect the April 2025 expiry date.

Really really good
Okay wow. I’ve suffered from acne for 13 years and nothing has helped, nothing from the doctor or anything, I tried this after reading some reviews online to see if it worked and wow, it does. I use this alongside cleansing twice a day and a moisturiser if I need to, and it has honestly made my skin so much better. My pores are smaller, way less acne on my face, I used to get 20-30 spots a day now I get maybe 2 every few days and it’s so great. I have another week of using it, but this showed a difference within a few days. If you’re struggling with acne I would definitely recommend to try this, if it doesn’t help your acne it will 1000% help the quality of your skin.

Product seems alright but the tube half empty to begin with
A little of this product does seem to go a long way, however, when the tube is half empty, to begin with, and leaks into the crevices within the lid when stored further wasting the product, you'd be hard stretched making this product last any significant amount of time. The image within the product description is misleading with the amount coming out of the tube in the image equivalent to around half of what you get. In terms of helping with my acne, I am still getting around the same amount of spots as before however the product has seemed to help to clear up the red marks left by spots at a quicker rate and spots have seemed less angry on the most part leading me to perhaps believe that longer-term use could potentially work. However, for the extortionate price for the small amount of the product provided this is not a viable choice for me as I cannot warrant the 18-pound price every 2-3 weeks.

It does work, but it takes time.
I have had acne/rosacea since menopause and I am now sixty. I believe that this cream has made a difference, though my experiences are hardly a scientifically conducted test. The reason I believe that it works is that I haven't put it near my hair line, wanting to avoid making my hair greasy, and I still consistently get spots in that defined edge-of-scalp area, which is why I think there is some merit in it. I do get some spots on other parts of my face but not as many. Other changes I have made are to use a cheap teenage-type face wash, plus I have been extra careful about very clean flannels and not touching my face without washing my hands, etc. Those things have to be factored in as well. Hence why I say it is not a very scientifically based opinion. Some acne has a lot to do with bacteria on the skin, so it stands to reason if you keep your face clean and as free from bacteria as possible that you will have some improvement. I believe that this Dermalex product has formed a useful part of a regime that has made a difference.A small update- again not very scientific- I have been using this product consistently now for about three months, with the other above mentioned regime, and I really do think it has made a difference. From my experience I would say it is not a quick fix, it works, but it does take time.
