Check used by date
Bought because I had a bit of hormonal acne after having my baby. The product is great and my skin cleared in a couple of weeks. However I bought it on the 16th April 2025 and on the box the used by date is 04/2025 which was covered up by a sticker which actually says new on it which makes me feel like it's tried to be cover up.

Game changing
I have had terrible skin for years (I'm in my 30s), mainly hormonal acne and have found most creams just dry out my skin making it sore and cracked. I started using this on a total whim because it was a reduced to clear item in a store. I've been using it 1 month and my skin is the best it has been for as long as I can remember. It has reduced the spots and redness so much. My skins is clearer, looks better and feels so much more comfortable. I have previously tried everything from prescription, natural, clinic based treatments to expensive products and cheap products but this has honestly been game changing. I really recommend anyone with bad skin to consider this product. I can't say if it will work for you, but I'd certainly give it a go. I haven't found anything quite like it one the market before. Its a cream, although it doesn't dry or moisturise. Apply it twice a day of clean skin. I suspect the pot will last me 2 months.

Makes ACNE worse!! Avoid if you have sensitive skin
My acne was that bad before using this, I had a few spots and cysts along my jaw line, chin and neck. I used this twice a daily as it says on the instructions, it has a nice scent and blends in well to the skin, but by the afternoon my face was a lot more greasy than usual. I had noticed within two days blackheads had gotten worse and my face was excessively greasy. I had continued to wash and cleanse my face as normal and then apply the acne cream. After a week of using the cream my face is awful, I am 32 years old and my skin is like what it used to be when i was a teenage. my whole face is red, fully of red pimple, whiteheads and a million more blackheads. I have obviously stopped using the cream now. My acne is so inflamed and worse now than it has been in 20 years. I am absolutely gutted. I just want to walk around with a bag over my head. If it works for you brilliant but please be careful, use a small amount on a small bit of your acne don't do what i did and cover the whole of your face thinking its some sort of miracle cream.

Didn't work for me
For reference, I have moderate hormonal acne. I used this nightly and didn't see much of a difference when using it. It states on the back of the bottle that you can only use it for 30 days so I wouldn't recommend going beyond that. Personally it didn't work for me, but it may be worth a try if you have a different type of acne.

Last of the stock
Just a note to say that this product has been discontinued and this is the last of the final stock. It’s low price must reflect the April 2025 expiry date.

It does work, but it takes time.
I have had acne/rosacea since menopause and I am now sixty. I believe that this cream has made a difference, though my experiences are hardly a scientifically conducted test. The reason I believe that it works is that I haven't put it near my hair line, wanting to avoid making my hair greasy, and I still consistently get spots in that defined edge-of-scalp area, which is why I think there is some merit in it. I do get some spots on other parts of my face but not as many. Other changes I have made are to use a cheap teenage-type face wash, plus I have been extra careful about very clean flannels and not touching my face without washing my hands, etc. Those things have to be factored in as well. Hence why I say it is not a very scientifically based opinion. Some acne has a lot to do with bacteria on the skin, so it stands to reason if you keep your face clean and as free from bacteria as possible that you will have some improvement. I believe that this Dermalex product has formed a useful part of a regime that has made a difference. A small update- again not very scientific- I have been using this product consistently now for about three months, with the other above mentioned regime, and I really do think it has made a difference. From my experience I would say it is not a quick fix, it works, but it does take time.
