Very good colander

Initial colander failed after 11 months, in that the handle came away from the drainer bowl. However, the responce from the comany, Pendeford, was very positive and they have replaced the item promptly and were a pleasure to deal with and in particular I spoke to a company representative,who was new to the company, and she was excellent!

As with all kitchen items, they come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. This colander seemed to be a sturdy design and being metal I hoped it would be safe in the dishwasher. I have had it for about 6 years now and it is still holding up to daily use. For the most part it is well made. It can feel like it is being used to its limit when full to the brim to drain a big bowl of pasta or boiled potatoes - but it has handled the task many times with no issues. There is the most tiny patch of rust that has started to form around the rim, but it would not come into contact with food so I do not think it impacts of its usability. I hope it continues to hold up to daily use. It was good value when I purchased it, so despite the above slight drawbacks I would still purchase another one today if I were in the market for a colander.

La taille de la passoire est idéale par contre la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous: inox très fin, taches d'oxydation, fond de la passoire bombé dans le mauvais sens du coup de l'eau stagne dans le fond. Passoire payée 10€54, c'est trop cher pour un produit de si piètre qualité.

I love this colander. It's so practical. Just the right size for many jobs. Have had mine for several years and it's still looking good. Package arrived on time and in good condition with reasonable packing.

Secondo me ha pochi fori.Quando scolo la pasta mi sembra di non riuscire a togliere tutta l’acqua! Comunque è leggero, inoltre l’ho lavato più volte in lavastoviglie e per ora non ha subito variazioni
