Reliable and Long-Lasting Support
I bought the BabyReflux The WedgeHog a few years ago, and it continues to help me a lot. Its quality and design provide great comfort and relief. Suitable for both babies and adults, it’s a valuable product that I highly recommend.

Worth a try!
The pillow took a few days to get used to and I use a normal pillow with it as it is a little hard but not too bad. I do find that I slide down it during the night. The thin end has become very flattened and I am not a heavy person! The cover did shrink on washing and so was a tight fit to get on. Pillow cover, like the expensive replacement one, isn't a good quality cotton and has the safety label on the outside...is there a reason for this as it is big and unattractive! I do feel that it has helped my reflux and missed it on a recent holiday away from home.

Brilliant quality, Has transformed my sleep
Exactly what I needed for under my matress to lift the head end of my bed. It has transformed my sleeping pattern and I no longer have a problem with reflux at night as I am always angled downwards from my head. It is a good length and width and works better for me than my electric bed. I have added some shallower firm foam to extend the length of the angle so that my matress is in an angled but straight line down from the head to toe giving me a flat surface to lie on without any dips and angles and it amazing how well I can now sleep, even on my side. My reflux problem is due to the removal of my oesophagus (Ivor Lewis procedure operation) through cancer in the oesophagus so obviously I still need assistace from reflux medication but so far this new purchase has been the solution. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation. Roger

Better for people who prefer to sleep on their back!
After years of suffering from the symptoms of acid reflux the Consultant, that I'd been under the care of, suggested I try one of these pillows. I decided to buy this pillow after reading the reviews and it came within a couple of days. I have to say it's taking a lot of getting used to as I usually sleep on my side. The pillow is really designed for sleeping on your back. The pillow is rock hard and I've had to arrange 3 softer pillows (2 vertically and 1 horizontally) to try and allay the pain it has caused in my neck.but that just means I slide down the pillow during the night and get pain at the base of my back! I think probably this has helped a little with the reflux problem but the pillow will probably end up being shoved in the cupboard with the rest of my pillows.

Excellent pillow
I pondered on buying this for a while because it could have been an expensive mistake. However, as it has very good reviews and I have been, like many reviewers, having problems with acid reflux, (and sleep apnoea, just to make night-time even more exciting!), I decided to go for it. It has been very successful and it has helped the reflux etc enormously. You just can't get the same effect with a bunch of pillows that move around all night. I do tend to slide down a bit but that is minor compared to the relief it has given me. It is excellent quality with an inner non-removable cover and a decent outer washable one. A few people have said it is hard but that is necessary, for support, and you are meant to place an ordinary pillow on top. Keep the plastic on while you try, or it is non-returnable! This, for me, was definitely worth buying and the quality cannot be faulted.

A wedge of bricks
Absolutely awful, like sleeping on a wedge of bricks. I’ve even tried jumping up and down on the thing to soften it up but no, it’s awful. It might be ok if you sleep on your back and need it for support, but it claims to be good for reflux, which means sleeping on your left hand side. impossible with no give for your shoulder and arm.Got an awful crick in the neck everytime I tried to use it and eventually gave up and dumped it.

It had got a LOT worse again in recent months
I have been using Gaviscon Advanced and a cheaper replacement for a few years now, trying to keep a 'reflux cough' at bay. It had got a LOT worse again in recent months, but had never fully gone away in about 30+ years. The cough was worse in the mornings, and seemed to consist almost entirely of a need to clear a small blob of 'stuck' mucous from around the larynx (or somewhere like that). Once cleared, everything was fine - for a while - would probably get a recurrence during the day, and occasional a squeeky voice. It, and the almost endless throat clearing were effortful and a nuisance, though never painful - the mucous was definitely not from the lungs. It seems that it was provoked by the act of acidic matter from the stomach upon the bottom of the tubes leading into it. I had occasional mild swallowing issues too.Having read about trying to sleep 'on a slope' I tried pillows - a bit of a pain. Then I happened upon the BabyReflux products. The wedge that I bought (1) gives me as good a night's sleep as ever I have had, if not better and (2) has led to a situation where since about three days after starting to use it I have not had any issues with needing to cough and remove lodged mucous. NONE.Must now try to find out if they do pillow-slips - at no-mortgage-required prices !

Great for acid reflux, sadly far too hard.. Like sleeping on concrete.
This product does really help with acid reflux, it keeps you nice and upright. The only problem for me is that it is so solid! I understand it needs to be firm to do the job, sadly for me no matter how practical it was in this respect I could not sleep well as it is like sleeping on cement. I am now having problems with my shoulders and neck because it is so hard to sleep against. The resistance seems to be too much for me. Shame, because it does keep you nicely upright.I have resorted to putting it under the mattress, this seems to work ok so far.
