Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner, Black

Beware of how long this stays in your makeup bag- a little goes a long way but it doesn't last as long as the amount in the pot if that makes any sense? Both the brush and the consistency of the product become more and more difficult to work with after about 6 months (at this point it is wise to replace both anyway for hygeine reasons) but other than that, I can not at all fault this product, my go to for three years now. The brush to start with is ultra fine and precise, the liner is jet black and ultra smooth/easy to work with. I use this for sharp feline flicks and cat eyes, or big black dramatic looks (set with black eyeshadow, it stays all day and night) it's great for festivals, one day at a festival I had to keep dousing my head under the drinking tap to stay cool- eyeliner stayed mostly completely untouched and intact. It really is rather good. You may want to use a larger brush for applying to a larger space on your eye. You know it needs replacing for sure when it starts becoming less black and harder to work with/not lasting as long. Buy it, it's the best I ever used and I've been doing 'bat eyes' since I was 12

I've been trying to master the perfect 'flicks' for ages but I just hadn't found the right tools to do so. I think that this just might be my new secret weapon! The brush is great. It really helps to achieve a thin line and makes applying the eyeliner a lot easier than with other products I've tried. The brush is double-ended. The other end, which I probably won't use, is more of a sponge-type brush which I imagine would be useful if you want to smudge the liner to create a smokey-eyed effect. The eyeliner itself takes a few minutes to dry but once it has dried it really seems to stay put. I've had it on for 6 hours and the deep black colour hasn't faded at all. Also the eyeliner hasn't transfered or smudged which is amazing! As noted in other reviews, the eyeliner pot is very small, but you only need a tiny amount so it should still last for ages. I've tried many different eyeliners from both cheap and more expensive brands and this is by far the best. I can't fault it. What a find and such a good price too!

Little oily & can transfer easily without much movement dont over apply! Feels silky and smooth on the eyes & colour & depth are great! Buildable & blends easily with other products & on its own!

This has been my go to eyeliner for years, I have watery eyes and this takes a lot to smudge. It’s great for thick liner and wings and love the dual brush and eyeshadow style brush. It lasts me ages, dries fast and is easy to put on.

I’ve tried multiple eyeliners trying to find one that doesn’t run, is properly opaque and is easy to work with, because let’s be honest, eyeliner is NOT EASY! For me, anyway. I’ve used ones that are high end, work great for a while, but dry out so easily. But this!!! This little gem! Is everything I’ve ever wanted in an eyeliner and is half the price of the one I’d been using most recently. It’s thick but doesn’t budge once dried and is SO BLACK, it’s honestly perfect. The brush it comes with is great too but I tend to use a different one if I want to do a wing as it’s not a precise as I need for that. Because it’s a gel formula, I imagine it wouldn’t dry out as easily as a felt tip eyeliner. Either way, this eyeliner is so easy to use once you get used to the texture and how much you need to use. I honestly love it and it’s become my favourite very quickly. Thankyou Maybelline for creating something so great for such a fab price!!

I have used a pencil liner for years, what have I been missing out on this product is fantastic I’m a lady well into her fifties but still like to look good and apply markup daily, this liner comes with a application brush which is very precise the gel liner itself comes in a small pot but don’t be put off a little goes a very long way and when applying it you don’t get that drag on your eyelid like you do with a pencil which is brilliant for protecting delicate skin I tend to use it through the day on the very edge of my lash line to give the allusion of fuller lashes but it can be used as a thicker line for a more dramatic look, it’s got a brilliant longevity once applied I didn’t need to reapply at all and it was easy to remove with eye makeup remover that’s a whole other review lol overall I would highly recommend and give it five stars.

Pros: nice brush. Good for tight lining or a smudged look. Cons: If you want something sharper, it won’t last. I just wanted to darken the roots of my lashes so my strip lashes blend in. It does that.

روعه و الفرشاه حلوه و يطول

La línea de los ojos era una de las cosas que más me costaba al maquillarme por mi poco pulso y mi piel grasa. Nunca conseguía que me quedara un trazo recto y bien definido y algunos lápices me irritaban los ojos o no se marcaban bien por mi tipo de piel. He probado de diferentes calidades y precios incluidos los de alta gama. Y me quedo con este, sin lugar a dudas. Gracias al pincel puedes hacer el grosor que tu desees. Es preciso, muy fácil de aplicar y queda con un aspecto muy profesional y que dura mucho puesto. Además el venir con el potecito y pincel aparte creo que hará que dure mucho más sin acabar seco, como pasa a veces, si no eres de maquillarte cada día. Además no me deja sensación alguna de picor o molestia en los ojos, ni se nota. Repetiré seguro!

Finalmente l'ho ritrovato! Usato per anni, sempre top, ma l'anno scorso è sparito dalle profumerie. Ora si trova in negozio un'altra versione sempore maybelline, ma in vasetto di plastica, che è orribile. Questo è il top. Cremoso, facilissimo da stendere ( io lo uso sia come eye liner che come matita per occhi) dura tutto il giorno e non si secca stando nel vasetto che in questa versione è di vetro....spero vivamente che non stiano pensando di toglierlo dal commercio!

Als das Paket ankam, war ich sehr gespannt. Nie zuvor habe ich Eyeliner mit einem Pinsel aufgetragen. Erstmal zur Verpackung: Das Gel kommt in einer dreieckigen Verpackung. Darin befinden sich der Pinsel und das Gel. Optisch gefällt mir die Dose sehr gut. Sie ist aus Glas mit mattem Auftreten und hat einen silbernen Deckel. Die Dose ist so groß, dass sie auf die Handfläche gelegt und die Hand einfach geschlossen werden kann. Der Pinsel ist schlicht, schwarz und hat auf der anderen Seiten einen Applikator. Zum Schutz dienen an beiden Enden zwei Kappen aus Plastik. Produkt: Von dem Döschen lässt man sich erst täuschen und denkt, dass es sehr viel Inhalt hat, aber dem ist nicht so. Das hat mich erst etwas traurig gemacht. Jedoch nach dem ersten Auftragen war ich sehr überzeugt. Das Gel ist sehr gut pigmentiert und das Produkt sehr ergiebig. Der Pinsel liegt sehr gut in der Hand und Gel und Pinsel sorgen in Kombination für ein schönes Ergebnis. Das Gel lässt sich sehr gut verteilen und ich war überrascht wie schnell es geht. Ich dachte es würde mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen. Übung macht den Meister! Man kann damit auch ganz einfach dünne und dicke Linien ziehen. Wie gut hält der Eyeliner? Bei mir hat er locker 12 Stunden geschafft. Danach habe ich ihn abgemacht. Jedoch sollte man nicht über das Auge wischen :D Ich würde ihn jedem empfehlen der eine schöne Pigmentierung auf sein Augenlied zaubern möchte. Es macht echt einiges her. Doch das ist meine Meinung. Ich denke jeder hat andere Ansprüche und Erwartungen, weshalb es für manche nicht zufriedenstellend sein könnte. Mein Herz jedoch ist nun vergeben :P Wenn ihr ihn kaufen solltet: Viel Spaß damit :)
