This is a very useful product for a tailor. I especially find it to be helpful when I have to sew collars/collar bands on shirts. I don't have to try to navigate across pins in order to achieve the perfect result. The pen's design makes the glue easy to apply. I usually press the pen onto the fabric or run it across. A quick press with an iron secures the glued pieces together. Even though the glue works perfectly to hold the pieces together, the glued pieces are easy to detach with a little effort. This is good in case one makes a sewing/measurement mistake and wishes to take the pieces apart.

Excellent, except the glue stick itself is tiny and does not go far at all. Need to order a whole bunch of refills at the same time

A great time saver for doing complex patchwork. I am doing a millefiori quilt and bought pre cut shapes. With this to stick the fabric on, its a massive time saver, so I can just concentrate on the final stitching, and not bother with basting etc which can bend things out of shape anyway. When the glue is dried, I can usually just peel off the fabric folded over it and reuse the paper, at least 3/4 are fine to use again even includeing ones I have caught with a stitch by mistake.

This is a very good pen and I am able to glue accurately.Unfortunately, I have a lot of applique to work on and will need a lot of refills to keep me going. Instead I shall use a regular glue stick for the main parts The colours show up clearly where I have placed the glue, but will only use this for the finer details. My only complaint is the refills are not an economic option for what I am doing

The glue works fine. But I can't help to feel.that it's overpriced kids art glue sticks. It's incredibly expensive for the amount you get.

Good value for monies. I bought this glue pen for help with sewing my quilt binding. Although I haven't used it yet but looks pretty good.

As a new quilter I've yet to work out the 'gadgets' from the 'essentials'. I quickly learned there are loads of tools that are said to be essential but aren't. This glue pen is definately not a gadget but is an essential. I've been learning English paper piecing and this pen saves so much time not having to baste the fabric to the paper and it comes off very easily but only when you want it to. I've tried many other basting glues which dried hard and were impossible to separate paper from fabric. I was very dubious when buying this but am very happy to say I was very wrong. I will always use this for my English paper piecing and my foundation paper piecing
