Still the best disc wallets you can buy... read this first!
There has been a lot of sensationalism in recent reviews for this product due to manufacturing changes over the years. I think an informed overview is required. I have examined 2005 and 2014 versions of the same case and here's what's different:1) The handle has changed from a soft-padded one to a thinner, knitted nylon one. Although this is slightly less comfortable to hold, it's easily as strong if not stronger.2) Most controversially, the material around the zip has changed from a tough, raincoat-like material to a thin nylon blend. This makes no practical difference to the quality of the case, and the new material is deceptively high quality. The zip itself is IDENTICAL to what it always was (only the decorative material tag looks different), so ignore reviews that mention this point. You'd have to be extraordinarily clumsy and rough with the zip to cause any damage or experience any problems with the action. The disc pockets are still the best of ANY case you can buy - perfectly engineered, very gentle on discs, and completely transparent for full view of disc art. Most other rival products (and I know, I've bought them all, sadly) are too tight, too rough, have opaque sleeves you can barely see through, and you have to constantly leave empty leaves so you can access the discs in the back section. You can fill it to capacity and still have full, easy and smooth access to every disc.Having embarked upon a project to get rid of all my DVD boxes, and read many of the other reviews, I was scared off, thinking they wouldn't be as good as the ones I bought a decade ago. I then bought two different brands of similar case which for various reasons were pathetic. I then bit the bullet and bought what ended up being four of the new CaseLogic 320s, to be delighted that the quality in real terms was the same as it ever was (inflation considered, they're also nearly half the price of what they used to be).So don't be scared, take it from someone who's bought a lot of different versions of these things over the years. If you have a lot of discs to house, these are simply the best ones you can buy. There are different brands, and there are different prices, but nothing will work as well as the CaseLogics. I am aware I am sounding a bit preachy and 'sponsored', but I am genuinely just a big DVD buyer who has walked the long road of disc storage. I am not a representative of CaseLogic nor being paid to write this - I am a discerning and fussy consumer who has spent over £100 of my own money on these products over the past month. Finally, a tip - they are almost exactly the depth of a standard 'deep' flat-pack bookcase, and you can get five stacked neatly on the bottom shelf of one. This looks very compact and attractive, and is very convenient. I have sewn coloured buttons onto the zip tags for identification, an easy way of reminding you what's in what.

Does it's job but not built for full protection
I purchased this for the storage of my DVD collection and it seems to be great for that function. All it needs to do is sit on my shelf and only get opened to get a DVD out, and it seems to be fine. However, if you're planning on transporting DVDs/CDs a lot then I would go for a higher quality product as the only real protection this offers is a place to store your discs compactly out of dust or risk of scratching. The case is mostly made up of thin hardback material that is rigid enough to stand alone but not thick enough to withstand the impact (I wouldn't risk dropping the case with DVDs inside as I don't think they'd survive, though I haven't tested that out). The outer cover where the zip is attached is made of a very thin plastic-like material (I don't know the name of it) and that offers no support to the case (as you can see from it's droopiness in the photos). It works as a covering and that's it. Inside the front cover is a nice section to store discs you want quick access to, although it isn't padded so I probably won't be using that section. Each 'sheet' inside is double sided, with four disc slots on each side. So you can store an 8 disc series on one sheet together for ease of finding the discs. There is a lock to keep the sheets in place that clips on as a button. If you unbutton it and slide the lock down you can then remove the sheets one at a time. It only unlocks right at the front so if you want to reorder one sheet you have to remove all of them, so it's probably easier just to take the discs out and swap them over yourself than get all the sheets off and then back on to their holder. At the back there's nothing but the hard case, so no extra storage there. In the photos I have filled 22 double sided sheets (176 discs) so still have a lot unfilled, but so far the case is holding together and closing easily. There is still room when I close the case, so I feel I could fill it with a lot more discs and still be able to close it. I can navigate to the last sheet and then put my hand under the front and slide them all back over with ease, so the sheets don't catch on their holder or need flicking through one at a time to get back to the front. Overall it's a great purchase and suits my needs, but it loses a star because there are people who would need a case like this for lots of transporting and I don't think it would provide enough protection for their needs. If you're like me and will just be storing your disc case on a shelf the whole time I'd recommend this product.

A very easy solution for CD storage.
I had an open- shelved cabinet storing all my CDs. This was very dusty and, although arranged alphabetically, it was still quite difficult to find the oarticular CD required. The Case Logic stores not only the CDs but also the informatuon booklet that usually accompanies the CD can go into the adjacent pouch. There are four pouches on each side of each "page" so two CDs accompanied by the information booklets can fit into the pouches on each side of each page. Any CD can get be located very easily if they are arranged in alphabetical order. The case houses all my CDs and there is room for more when I purchase them. I am extremely pleased with it. They are safely housed out of dust's way and this is a very convenient way of storing them as they are readily available when they are needed.
