Never pourred water in it, but it takes a laptop, Ipad, chargers, batteries, extra clothing, paperwork, documents, agenda and all at once. The extra long zipper along the side makes it even easier to pack it. Sturdy material, comfortable to carry. Happy to have bought it.

I have not used it for sports, but in any other use in the hot summer weather of Athens, I have not experienced any problems

I'm not sure on the volume - there is a lot of space in it. If 47cm is diagonal or length then yes. It fits my 15in MacBook Pro.
