Then end of no more sockets, well for me.
Only a geek can use so many USB Ports! I am such a geek and have only one spare. (Printers, portable keyboards, hard drives, etc., seem to eat them). It charges my phone, even with my laptop turned off. Great USB connectivity, I appreciate the individual 'on off' push buttons and LEDs. Looks great, with it being a nice compact size. I've had no issues with compatibility, Bluetooth, HDDs, or printers. Any and everything works great. I highly recommend this for all of those who keep going, "How the hell have I run out of sockets??!!!"

Was great for a short while but has failed already....
I've tried several USB hubs and those I tried had a common problem in that certain devices I was connecting to my pc via the hub would only function correctly if plugged directly into the pc. This hub has solved those issues, making my life a lot easier. Highly recommended. Update 13.4.26. This item worked very well until two days ago. It is now useless because, for whatever reason, it will now only connect certain devices which are plugged into it. I suspect this is due to a faulty USB plug on the output lead, but the other end of this lead is hard-wired into the unit so cannot be replaced. NOT HAPPY!!!!

7 USB 3.0 ports, what's not to love?
I've been looking for a while at USB hubs as I was desperate for one! I looked at a lot, some I was very interest in (including this one). I decided on this USB hub as the one I originally wanted sold out, but I'm very happy this is the one I got in the end. I use mine for all sorts, TrackIR, Stream Deck, Microphone, Mouse (wireless including charging), Keyboard, and USB external hard drives. I have had no issues what so ever with it. The build quality could be a bit higher and another loop on the opposite end to screw it on the side of my desk would have been nice, but saying that it works with no issues, so I have given it 4 stars.

Does what it's supposed to do...
I have 3 of these around the house and workshop, tested with various USB devices and micro SD cards up to 1.5TB. I've had various USB hubs over the years and they're generally much of a muchness, but these are simple, effective and having switches on them means I don't have to pull a Chromecast out of my monitor to let my screen sleep or unplug drives to isolate them from a media server. Having a power brick attached has helped here as although the drives worked when direct connected to the server, they weren't recognised going through an unpowered hub. The units are lightweight but feel well built - the only thing I could possibly fault them for is that being lightweight, they'll easily move about. That's what double sided tape or sticky pads are for :)

Nice robust hub with switched ports - nice touch.
Great little device. I opted for a powered hub because everything seems to be getting power hungry these days! Nace, weighty and robust item. No temptation to be flipped about by stiff leads etc. Nice individual switches if you have lights or fans connected (for example). Much better than low powered, lighter item I replaced. Glad I upgraded to something that doesn't want to dance about when I plug or unplug and I know will deliver for year to come. Heartily recommend.

Seven USB ports, each with its own on/off light.
I recently bought a mini desktop PC which didn't have enough USB ports for my needs, hence I bought this hub. I've plugged in all I need and still have two vacant ports. Each port has its own light switch which you have to turn on before the port will work. I generally like to have all my USB ports open all the time, so that I can swap between them looking for files, so the lights are unnecessary for me. However, not wanting all those lights shining and wasting electricity, they do force me switch off at the mains when I close down the computer at night - something I didn't do before. Otherwise, this hub works just fine.

Poor. Failed after 3 months very light use.
It always felt flimsy build but to be honest it seemed good value given it's powered and plenty of ports. I have only deployed two ports a few times in the 3 months I have had it. And the plugs stayed in (no out and in). Had worked fine with new focusrite interface but suddenly the focusrite is not recognised (or my second interface). No other changes made to the setup. Tried the obvious things and checked direct usb connection was fine. I know there is a good argument for keeping the interface direct but for everyday convenience (and individual switching) this really should be working. Rebooting the computer seems to wake it up but I can't do that every time on the whim of the hub. I have returned under warranty and will spend more on a very quality replacement.
