Crio Bru is a must for me when I am fasting. I recently did a 14 day fast (as a self-directed cancer treatment). In the afternoon, I would feel a definite dip in energy and wonder if I could go on. This pulled me out every single day! I added some dried organic stevia leaves to the mix, then before drinking, I added a scoop of MCT powder and whizzed it up with a frother. It is delicious! Instead of an energy spike, it gives me more of a gentle, sustainable feeling of energy and well-being. LOVE this stuff!

So Good. The best way I think brewing is using the French press, as it needs to steep longer to get all the flavor out. I boil one coffee cup full of water. I add up to 3 tablespoons cacao, and one tablespoon coffee. Pour the boiling water in and follow the direction on the bag. I add the same creamer that I like for coffee to this, and this is so much better than coffee alone, I'm actually hooked on this and don't desire regular coffee anymore. The coffee adds a bit more complexity to the flavor and it top notch, must try.

I tried this out with an open mind. I LOVE cacao, and thought this might be a good evening drink, and really it kinda just tasted like dirty water.It was a bit disappointing.

Avoid. I can sum it up in a sentence. If you were to take Swiss miss instant cocoa and add way to much water, that's EXACTLY what this taste like. Horrible. Additionally there is an oily sheen that is really off putting AND you can't add cream because it's already so damn weak/watery. The price is absolutely absurd. I wonder if it was finer ground if it would make a better brew? Seems really thick.

I placed my order 22 days ago and have not received the product or any communication from Crio. Order has been cancelled and payment refunded.Update: I just received a package from Crio that contained a letter of apology, the product I originally ordered and a second package of Crio labeled “We’re Sorry” so 5 stars for going above and beyond to remedy the original order issue. They explained that due to technical issues, they never received my order.The product itself is a good quality but the end result is hard to quantify. Yes, it brews like coffee and tastes like chocolate. Adding cream and sugar makes it start to taste like hot chocolate. I think it tastes as described, it’s just something that is unusual.My wife and I have starting adding/substituting some of our regular French press coffee with Crio to add a chocolatey flavor to our daily coffee.Initial review: 1 star for non-delivery of productRevised review: 5 stars for over the top customer service, good product

Not sure yet..Tasty but I have not had any luck getting it to brew..Pods/No..Pour over/No....Still trying to get right method of brewing..Extra thick so hard to filter..

The item that I ordered was exactly what I wanted. I actually add some of it to my regular ground coffee. It’s delicious and smells great!

You can brew with this in any manner - Except don't use it for Expresso machines - it will clog because this grinds finer than coffee. even if you mix this with coffee for expresso it will act like a mortar between the coffee grinds and stop up your machine. I have learned you can sprinke a little bit of the pre ground Cacao on top of your pressed expresso coffee before it goes into the expresso machine.
