Hello, I have bought the Braun Facial Brush and Epilator approximately 2 weeks ago and today it stopped working how can we sort it out? Thank you!
i have a few questions, can you use it all over your face? does it cause ingrown hairs? and does regrowth come in like stubble?
Can you use this to epilate nose hair?
Hi. What is the difference between the 810, 820 and 830 models? Thanks!

Impressive action.
I am generally quite sceptical of grooming devices specifically for the face and have made do with a pair of tweezers for this sensitive area for most of my life, but I decided to buy this product due to it's claims of being speedy, and because I have owned a more conventional epilator by Braun before that has never let me down. So far, I've only used the device once or twice, and will leave another review in a couple of months to provide some more clarity.I am very happy with it at this early stage. I'm by no means unused to epilation on the skin so can't judge how painful it would feel to someone not used to the pulling sensations - only that the tiny epilator head feels gentle enough and is easy to manipulate around really tricky areas above and below the brow - an absolute win for me, as it takes ages to manually groom thick eyebrows with tweezers! It is indeed speedy and effective and I couldn't be more pleased.Though I bought this thing for the epilator alone really, I did try out the cleansing brush attachment and was shocked at how effective that was as well. I tend to wear foundations at least 5 days a week and need to be careful to keep the T-zone of my face clean as this is a problem area for spots and blocked pores. The brush worked beautifully at helping apply my current cleanser and though it sounds rather silly: my face felt really good after my cleansing routine was done, (glowing would be the word). I am seriously impressed here, this is finally a device with an attachment that I won't simply keep in my cupboard and completely forget about: both the epilator and the brush parts have proven to be quick and effective alternatives to manual tweezing, which is glacially slow, and using wash cloths to help with makeup removal, which pull the skin about too much and can actually cause fine lines. The attachments are easy to clean, but I have made a note to be mindful of keeping any moisture out of the main parts as certain reviews I have seen online suggest it isn't as waterproof as intended.Overall, I am hopeful that this device will continue to prove reliable in the coming months and continue to knock time off my cleansing/tweezing routines. If the good results remain (and my face continues to glow like it has been doing!), I'd wager it'll be hard going finding a better facial epilator on the market at this price range.

Like using tweezers but doing 30 hairs at once!
I’ve tried various methods for years to remove unwanted upper lip hair. Hair removal cream is rubbish and always leaves some hairs behind. Also irritating to skin. Waxing worked but the area is red for 24 hrs after, it hurts, leaves dry patches and forget it in summer or you’ll have a different coloured moustache zone. So for maybe 5 years I’ve just given up and half heartedly plucked a few at the corners of my mouth while crying silently. Because ouch.I dubiously bought this after reading the top few negative reviews and decided I’d return it if it was terrible, but I have avoided epilators forever since I bought a crappy leg epilator in 2007 and it hurt so much I threw it away, so expectations were very low. Well what can I say, this thing worked SO WELL!Firstly, yeah it hurts a bit. But if you’re a regular tweezer, it’s not half as bad as individually plucking! It plucks like 30 at once and the numbness sets in pretty quickly. I’d say if individual tweezing is an 8/10 on the pain barometer then this is more like a 5-6. Secondly, it not only got rid of the longer hairs but also removed those annoying tiny blond hairs too- completely smooth. Thirdly, my upper lid was red afterwards, but it disappeared after a few hours (helped with a cold flannel).I’m just really happy with the results. No more hours of painful tweezing for me, no sir. Give me a few minutes of less painful epilating with this tool and I am very, very happy. Highly recommended for fellow tweezer users who get depressed every time they have to get the tweezers out.

Does the job!
I decided on a whim a couple of weeks ago that I was tired of bleaching my top lip and went at it with my body epilator… It hurt like hell and I couldn’t do the middle part of my lip because it was too painful and the epilator was too cumbersome. After bleaching the middle part and once the irritation had gone down, it didn’t look too ridiculous! But I decided that a face epilator would probably be better.I got this one on sale at £40 and I wouldn’t have wanted to pay more for it. It’s a pretty simple bit of kit - small epilator head on an ergonomic wand, battery operated. I don’t have much use for the cleansing head, but I might give it a go sometime.I’ve just used the epilator for the first time and I’m pretty happy with it! It was a lot gentler than a body epilator and dealt with the hair on my upper lip well. It says to go against the direction of hair, but I found that for the middle of my lip, going with the hair was less painful and still did the job. It struggled a little more on my chin where I have some courser hairs, but I can live with still having to pluck a few.I have sensitive skin, so at the moment it’s red and a bit puffy, but definitely not as bad as when I used my body epilator and it’s going down pretty quickly. I expect I’ll have a few tiny whiteheads tomorrow as that’s what my skin tends to do, but as long as I leave them be they’ll go away. Definitely something to do when you’re not planning to go out immediately! All in all, I’m pretty happy! It was quick, relatively painless (if you’ve never epilated before though, then it will probably be pretty painful!), and easy to use. One minor gripe is that the epilator head got quite hot pretty quickly, so I had to turn it off for a few minutes to let it cool down.

Battery burns out quickly
This device works well to remove hair on the face. Not too painful either. Only a little redness which had gone by the morning. When I first turned it on the head rotated very quickly and it pulled the hairs out fast. I had only used it about 15 mins and the head started to feel much hotter and the spinning slowed down. I decided to leave the rest until the next night. The head spun much slower and did not remove the hairs as well. I changed the battery the next time I used it but sadly it is still spinning slower and not as effective at pulling the hairs out.

Good experience, but the tracking updates could be better.
1. Make sure your skin is clean and dry before use. 2. Select the desired intensity level. 3. Slowly run the epilator over the skin against hair growth. 4. Remove any ingrown hairs with the facial cleansing brush. 5. Remember to moisturize your skin after epilation.

Apparently the base cap that keeps the battery in place only has a small area for the connection to be made. If the cap moves round at all the epilator/brush will stop working. Tweezers are a lot more painful and take much much much much longer... My brother tried mine out and his nostrils are much smaller, average size or maybe smaller than average. It was a bit of a tight fit inside his nostril but worked very well. The most painful part is the thought of doing it. At first I was really scared, I thought it was going to suck my brain out of my nose. But then I thought hey tweezers suck and trimming is useless, I gotta be a man and do the right thing! So I sellotaped my moustache and started epilating and the first 1 or 2 hairs did hurt, but I persisted and I have to say it doesn't hurt anywhere near as much as tweezers. After the first 1 or 2 times it's virtually painless.I will give you some advice as to how you should go about doing it to make it as easy and pain free as possible. The hairs in the centre of your nose (the middle part that separates your nostrils), are most sensitive... as well as the hairs that are directly above your \"moustache\"... so make sure the \"epilator's guard\" is against those, so that they don't get plucked (you can pluck them later, once your nose has got used to the epilator). But the rest of the hairs (i.e. attached to the front of your nose) are less sensitive, so start with plucking those. Only pluck a little bit (maybe 1 or 2 minutes in each nostril) on your first time doing it. Then wait until the next day and do some more. Otherwise if you do your whole nose in one go then the next morning your nose will become very sore, it will feel like Muhammed Ali punched you in the face! Trust me I know because I was overly ambitious on my first time. My brother listened to my advice and took it day by day and he didn't get any soreness. I also took it easier since then and did it in smaller \"batches\" and it doesn't get sore.Another word of advice. My brother's nose was quite tight so the epilator sometimes wouldn't turn. You have to hold it a little diagonal so that your nostril is \"pried open\" a little bit. Then it can spin more freely.Good luck and good on you for anyone who buys one of these for nasal epilation. You will love it! In fact the reason I am looking at them was I was looking for an offer online for my brother to buy his own so he can give mine back!"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Hi.
