that is a very good point, they are so cheap i think replacing once a month be best but who is ever going to remember to do that?

Hi, it is the alloys mixed with the gold plate that start to tarnish rather than the gold itself, and this process will be slowed down by using the Town Talk Storage Strips.

Q: Which is best. To store in a jewellery box with strips on or store singly with tarnish strips ?

Hi I can only tell you what I have been told by jewellers which is to store items in the little zippy plastic bags with a tarnish strip in each bag. That’s what I do and I haven’t had any tarnish issues.
