Works for silicone mold gummy bears / keep under 230F.
I used this to create gummy bears in a silicone mold. Worked great! The pectin set on a recipe on its own and it also worked on a recipe for pectin + gelatin. Getting the right gummy bear consistency is hard so it does take a lot of trial and error and online research to get the right ratios. I experimented with different amounts of pectin... some batches were too firm and some were too soft until I found the right mix. Don't cook your pectin past 230F or it may start setting immediately.

Read the directions first.
I have several mulberry trees and get loads of berries each season. Reluctantly, I share my mulberries with birds and every squirrel from miles around when the word gets out. Not all Pectin is equal. this pectin in made without a lot of junk. the natural fruit pectin is essential in making good mulberry jam as it is very sweet just from the berries. I find it helpful to toss in a few partially ripe berries just to add a bit of zing to the jam.

All pectin NO acid, no extras. Works all the time.
This stuff is a dream. No sugars. No acids. Just pectin...and oh boy does it work like a dream. Never had a soupy, runny or sour jam.I saw one person criticize this stuff but I think it's the user not the pectin. Each batch of fruit needs tweaking. No acid, less acid, more sugar, less sugar, no sugar and differing levels of pectin. Still, hey if some big brand works for you then keep using it but for me? I'm a huge fan of this product.

Pectin
So much money and time wasted. Jelly never set after batching AND rebatching. This pectin would not set the jelly.

Needs some sugar
Yes, it gels. I tried it for grape jelly. Fortunately, I tasted it before I put the jelly in the jars. It was very bitter! I added some sugar to my jelly to take away the bitterness. At first, I was concerned that the pectin wasn’t going to dissolve; it finally did.

Pure Pectin - No Sugar - Works Well
The product worked very well and, because it is pure pectin, allows me to precisely weigh out the amount needed which is not possible with pectin/sugar blends.

Great product
So nice to not have to use rediculous amounts of sugar in my jams. Can taste the fruit now not just sugar!
