This helped all learners
Perfect for all students. It feels gaps for those students who are missing some. It introduces new concepts to some who may not be ready for a full lesson, and it challenges those students who are ready for new concepts. It gives you a chance to see your students in action and how they are as learners. Weekly checkins. Morning work.

Easy supplemental workbooks for homeschool.
I homeschool my 6 year old and we use these workbooks as supplement to online learning. These are great for teaching different math skills the pages are easy to read and follow. The answer guide is also in the back of the book for teachers.

Variety of exciting math problems
This is by far my daughter's favorite book! I love that each page has a variety of different problems. Questions about counting, shapes, measuring, critical thinking, telling time, and a multitude of ways that illustrate items to count. She seems to favor the math oriented books but I think the math and problem solving books make learning so fun she doesn't see it as work.

This book reinforces skills neccessary for (or by the end of) 1st grade.
I would recommend this book for your average 1st grader. Not for the 1st grader who is advanced, since, this workbook parallels only the minimal math and critical thinking skills that would be required by the end of 1st grade. There are 8 questions per page or per day. The workbook teaches 8 separate problems or skills: (1) writing numeral (2) Addition - double digits (3) Subtraction - double digits (4) simple introduction to algebra (5) Shape/ simple geometry (6) measurement (7) Graphs and tally - Data Analysis (8) Math word problems. Each type of problem repeats every day. This book is highly repetitive, and is designed to ensure the student has truly mastered the material. Some of the problems, were maybe, a little too simple, we used those problems as practice. The problems get progressively harder. Most of the problems were extremely good and encouraged critical thinking. Using this book, I was able to assess my child's problems areas and devote more individual and separate time to working on them.
