Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Water Micellar 90% hydration boost facial cleanser and makeup remover, 200ml

I have tried many micellar waters as the idea that they can remove make up without irritating skin is very appealing to me. I suffer with severe eczema and have bad reactions to most make up removal items. Although other micellar waters claim to be gentle I have had bad reactions to both the l'oreal micellar water and garnier micellar water. Both products dried my skin out and gave an awful stinging sensation when using them. I did not have high hopes for this product but I like the simple brand and have used their make up wipes in the past so I thought I would give their micellar water a try.I found it worked brilliantly, it removed all of my make up, including Estée Lauder double wear foundation which is tricky to remove at the best of times and did not cause a nasty reaction on my face. The product itself has a very subtle scent, nothing overpowering but pleasant. It is easy to put on a cotton pad and does not waste product as control of flow out of the bottle is good. The cap is sturdy so no worrying about it leaking and the product itself does not dry my skin out like other micellar waters have done in the past. It is also better priced than other micellar waters and comes with a decent amount of product.Overall I'm really impressed with this micellar water, and have repurchased twice since initially trying it. I would recommend this if you struggle to find a make up remover due to sensitive skin as it is lovely and gentle whilst still doing a brilliant job of removing your make up.

I've used this everyday instead of washing with tap water for nearly a year and it has helped my acne-prone sensitive skin a lot! Last year I had an awful flare up on my cheeks that were very sore, red and painful, and I had trouble getting rid of them and stopping new ones from appearing. I tried different cleansers that you wash off with tap water, but it just made my skin worse or just didn't help. I guess that routine is just not for me. I knew about micellar water, but for some reason never tried it until last year. I chose Simple's one, as I already loved their shampoo/conditioner and they are cruelty free. I paired this with using Savon over my spots after I cleaned my face with micellar water. And use moisturiser when I need it. I don't use any other products on my skin (apart from makeup). As for it taking makeup off, I wear very light makeup and it takes every last bit off. I'm not sure how it would fair if you wear heavy makeup; I think it would just take more applications with the cotton pad. My skin stopped breaking out so badly. I only get new spots every so often (hard for anyone to be 100% free) and they were not the very painful ones either, and they tend to go within a week. My old painful spots have all gone and the scars have nearly vanished. I definitely recommend not using tons of different products like cleansers, exfoliaters, masks, etc, if you have sensitive skin, as using those would break me out. I only clean my face in Simple micellar water now and my skin has thanked me for it. Can't recommend this product enough!

I have had terrible trouble with finding cleansers that removed make-up and dirt but did not give me spots or dry skin. I had been using the same product for 30 years, even though it irritated my eyes, smelled bad and was becoming increasingly hard to find. This product cleanses better, doesn't have much of a smell at all, does not cause spots or dryness and can be used on my eyes with no problems. I am delighted!

Very good cleanser especially for removing sun cream.

I love this as a facial cleanser - I also use it for removing eye makeup as it is gentle and non-greasy.Have stocked up now I have discovered this.I find it particularly gentle on my mature and combination skin. In fact I use all Simple products on my face as they do not irritate, are perfume free and don't leave that residue or tightness you get with some products. I have done for the past 15 years at least (approx). I am not being paid to say this - they just suit me at a reasonable price too.

This is my must have micellar water. I always keep loads in my cupboard in case it runs out.

Great stuff, doesn't harm a sensitive skin but DOES get it clean
