A must have for learning to code
I got my 4 year old this to learn over the summer as his teacher said going into reception they learn basic coding. Well I must say he loves it it really keeps his interest and he learnt what to do within 5 mins he loves rearranging the outlay so the mouse can go a different route, he does 1 step instructions atm but you can do more than 1 step at a time. Honestly you will not regret getting this I highly recommend, he asks for it everyday after lunch, I would say do it 1 to 1 though so they really get it. It has prompt cards tunnels cheeses fake little walls and the mouse it's so cool

Love this
The media could not be loaded. I bought this as previously used one at work and the children love it. In the video you can see that the mouse does go backwards but in my experience this is just to realign itself. I personally think this is a great item to intoduce technology and coding to young children. It is good quality plastic and the cards are great to.

Educational, Fun with No Upper Limit on Age!
I was reluctant to buy this for my 5 year old just from reading the other reviews about the mouse drifting slightly but couldn't find anything else on the market that I thought would be better. The mouse does does astray but it takes only a second to realign him and I have to say that my 'gifted' and easily bored 5 year old plays endlessly with this set which was a surprise to us all given how quickly she masters toys and moves on.I think the reason this game is such a success is the different levels you can take it to and the different ability groups this can satisfy; you can start off with very easy circuits (that our 2 year old has a crack on) and can progress to making your own extremely complex mazes with rules such as 'the mouse has to go through all the tunnels before he attempts to get to the cheese' and my husband and I have found this taxing. The age range by Learning Resources states 5-10 year olds but really the upper limit I would say, is adult age because of what you can do with this kit and kids love creating difficult mazes for the adults to try which again, builds on their ability to plan and create a very hard but not impossible circuit.Another con is that the green pieces are not easy for a child to figure out how to slot together so some adult interaction is requied here - but for adults it is realitively straight forward to change around.Battery life is very good.

Great toy for stimulating kids minds
This is a great alternative to Bee Bots. My daughter has spent hours playing with this, both following the provided cards which set out different board setups with varying difficulty and creating her own. We have not had any of the troubles with the mouse not working that others have reported although I would agree the mouse can sometimes drift off course. The board works best on a table or equally flat surface. We do use ours on the carpet regularly but this can cause the joints in the board to be uneven and send the mouse off course.

the programable (code) mouse doesnt work.!!!!
I'm from Lithuania. bought Code & Go Electric Robot Mouse for my 4 year old (Tipe1 Diabet) kid. I couldnt buy it to Lithuanian adress, so I bought it to UK one. (via mediator service). It came today to us, and.. the mouse doesnt programs (codes). we tryed all the ways.. chaneged baterys, reset, etc. nothing works. the mouse just goes all the way forward or back.. doesnt stop , doesnt turn. (NO info about error like that in manual).I tryed to replace it on amazon.. but becouse Im based in diferent country, and delivery was in UK.. now I just cant do that becouse the only solution is to return in UK drop-off places.. :(So .. becouse my sun is very upset now, (and becouse of that, his glucose in blod "jumped' to 14mmol..) I just bought another "mouse" - for additional ~ 29€ .. thats the storry. :(

Had to return it
Unfortunately I had the same issues as some others have mentioned. Despite having brand new batteries, the mouse was not turning 90⁰ and not moving the correct distance to stay on the maze. Not ideal to programme something and then having to keep adjusting with your hand to ensure it stays on the path.I sent it back and will look for an alternative

Colby mousebot
Bought for my 7 year old autistic son. He loves it. Great fun for his younger brother too. Better than beebot and half of the price. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.
