Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner, 60 ml

I have extremely tangled hair and I've tried lots of conditioners over the years to try to get a brush through it to no avail! This is the first conditioner I've tried where when you put it on you're just able to slide the knots out with a comb. It makes your hair feel very smooth and sleek. Knots where before I'd think there's no chance of getting through I can now think yes I can do this! Pros: - Thick formula that soaks into hair nicely - a little goes a long way (I've had mine for 2 months and I'm only hslg way through the product (I have knee length hair and use this from my ears down)). - Helps smooth out even stubborn knots in the hair - Hair feels smooth and looks shiny. Cons: - Some people mentioned a chemical type smell, and it's definitely not anything like a perfume so be prepared for that! The smell is a little like cleaning solutions but I didn't mind this at all.

I am a first time user of this product. Oh my goodness! This is perfect for my hair! To think of the hundreds of different types of hair conditioners I have used for my hair, nothing beats this!.. I now use this product after I've washed my hair with the Mixed Chicks Sulphate Free Shampoo, then I apply the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner, don a heating cap for an hour or so. I then rinse, followed by the Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner for 1/2 hr. It feels lovely, it smells great - and my hair is left soft, silky and beautiful for days! .. For those that are mixed and have long or short curly - sometimes unruly hair - you won't be disappointed...This product is simply amazing!

The conditioner works ok but I dislike the residue it leaves. I found that it took forever to rinse it out. The result was good and added moisture but I doubt I would buy it again.

Good conditioner but not enough of it. Tub is small and this doesn’t go a long way on medium length corkscrew hair. Not value for money.

I have used this product 3 times for wash day and it is amazing. My hair feels instantly moisturised as I work it through my hair, it smells amazing and I'm honestly so curious as to what ingredient in this product makes it so suitable for my hair!

It arrived early and I could not be happier with it, my hair felt like straw and was just frizz before using it and now my curls are back for the first time in years and my hair feels so silky. After I washed my hair I put it on and put a shower cap on over it, I left it on for at least an hour and half I ran a hair dryer over it about mid way through for about five to ten minutes, rinsed it well and then put in cantu hair custard I’m so delighted with the results thanks a million.

The best conditioner for mixed race hair. I have tried and tested many many conditioners but nothing can test this product. Since I have found the deep conditioner from Mixed Chicks I am sticking to it. I have been using it for my two little girls and it's a great product. It's a bit expensive but for curly hair you need the extra TLC and the product goes a long way so worth the investment.

I read an article on hair conditioners which recommended for my hair type a protein conditioner once a month and a non protein conditioner for the rest of the month so I bought this one because it was listed as zero protein. I have caucasian wavy / curly /frizzy hair. First use and my hair is soft but the same wavy, curly frizziness. I will of course continue using it as I have just shelled out £17 and update my review if my hair condition improves. October 3rd. Have been using this for a couple of weeks now. It does not get out tangles from washing at all and it really is not for me or perhaps my type of hair.

One of the best conditioners I have ever used. One jar lasts me a long time since I do not have to use much of it. I cannot find this often in local stores. Happy I can find it on Amazon!!!

Well this is not the first time that I've used this product. I've been using it for several years...since I went natural. I am not a "mixed chick" but this product came highly referred from one of my friends. Her hair is always beautiful and I asked her what she used. I started using it. I use the shampoo...which makes your hair moist and not dry at all. It does not strip the hair. This conditioner and the Leave In Conditioner. The Leave conditioner will define your curls and keep them from getting frizzy. This Deep Conditioner is highly moisturizing. I started using some of the conditioner from the various hotels that I visit and although they are fine....it's just not the same. This conditioner is very thick and almost like a mask. Sometimes I will leave it in all day and it just makes my hair so soft. (Oh, did I say that I'm African American and my hair is very curly/wavy but very dry). This conditioner is the best. It works immediately and you can feel a difference instantaneously. I had to pay for shipping which I am not a big fan of and it came in a huge box. I feel that was a waste. They could have charged me 1.50 and put it in a puffy envelope. But oh well...I had Amazon bucks or I would have purchased it at Target like always.

Best product for tough tangles. Since using this I have tossed every other product out. Nothing else compares to the job it does detangling my child's hair. I wish it was a bit cheaper but I'll pay whatever price it is knowing how good it works
