Is this can take my desktop with 1000W psu 24" monitor broadband modem and wi-fi modem?

It is fitted with a 13 amp plug, as a rule use 4 amp a Kw. So this is plenty big enough

Could i use this safely for tv, blueray, sky box etc?

Does the switch on the unit switch off all appliances and then use no power while still plugged into the wall?

Yes the switch will switch off anything plugged on the extension lead.

Something rattles internally - i just got one from amazon warehouse - 6 socket surge. I havent plugged anything in yet. Is it normal to rattle?
