I like the idea behind this product, but I would not use it immediately after a tattoo was done.
I like the idea of this product, as an aid to healing following a tattoo. It's a foaming cleanser, and I like that the pump bottle does not have an aerosol propellant. The product does have a very odd, very faint scent. It's not unpleasant, it's more "odd". Just odd.I personally don't care for the smell, slight though it is, but I'm sure that most other users won't give it a thought. It's that subtle.I personally would not use this product immediately following the completion of a tattoo, given the warning about allergic reactions on the label (see pic #3). That sort of thing gives me pause, and I would rather play it safe and use it beginning the day FOLLOWING the completion of the the tattoo. In this way you would not be putting it directly on open skin. Use your own discretion here.I think that as a daily cleanser while the tattoo heals this is a great thing. As a scab is forming it's good to use something like this as an antiseptic solution. Keeping the tattoo itself clean is absolutely key.All in all, a very nice product with a clear market. I love the idea that it's foam, but no propellant.

Great Tattoo Balm
I got the tattoo balm, which is great for moisturizing your tattoos and making them look nice and moisturized. It has a mild natural smelling/medicinal herb smell. It is easy to apply; it rubs in quite nicely and leaves the tattoo looking shiny for a little while before completely absorbing into the skin. The stick is pretty small, so I would say this is best used during travel or as an aftercare product on a freshly healed tattoo. If you are planning to use this every day to moisturize your tattoos, it would probably run out fairly quickly depending on the size and amount of tattoos you have. It is the perfect size for travel or keeping in a purse/backpack/car etc.

been using it to take care of my sleeve
I recently got my first tattoo and have been using this once a week to help protect and moisturize it. It doesn't burn or feel weird or tingly like some others have for me. So far I have noticed that it is pretty slick and goes on pretty heavy so I have been limiting the amount I have been putting it on, only really going across it once and then once a week. Limiting it to that has been my best results and has been what makes the most sense for me. All in all a great product and feels and smells great

Opened the stick and almost puked
I opened the stick and could not get over the smell of rancid oil. Not sure if it was just sitting in the warehouse a while or what, but the oil in this balm was incredibly rancid.
