This stuff is miraculous!!
My natural hair is silver. I had coloured it copper then remembered the roots argh!!! Cue several rounds with the hair dresser to bleach it to make wearing it between highlights easier. My hair is strong but the last round really wrecked my curl pattern. They didnt curl, they were maybe a loose very fluffy wave. I took a chance on this. I applied it, shoved on a shower cap and waited 1 hr. Washed, conditioned with my usual shampoo and conditioner. I couldn't believe my eyes, my curls are back and look amazing. I really am shocked but so happy. I am absolutely going to buy again as I am enjoying the highlights with what grows out my head and this stuff works. In my opinion it is worth the £28. But I do have a bob about mid neck length so I will get about 6 uses out of a bottle.

Great product
Decided to change my hair colour from black box dye to red, needed to bleach the black out because removal stuff didn’t work. I wanted to repair some of the damage and look after my hair a bit. I have very long hair and use 1/4 of the bottle for each treatment and it’s been plenty. Left it on for a hour before washing and my hair feels fantastic

Saved my over-processed hair, wow, what a difference
I tried Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector when my hair was in serious trouble. Bleached, heat-damaged, and frizzy everywhere, it felt like straw and every brush stroke was a small tragedy. Decided to give this bond-repair stuff a go, and honestly I’m impressed. From first use I could feel my hair softer. I applied it after washing but before conditioning, left it on for about 20 minutes with a towel wrap, then washed out. My ends, which were previously dry and crispy, felt way smoother. The frizz calmed down noticeably, and I didn’t have that crunchy stiffness I usually get after drying. What’s cool is how this treatment goes beyond just surface-level shine. The active ingredient olaplex uses (bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate) claims to repair the internal bonds, those disulfide bonds that bleach and heat are always wrecking. Reading reviews, lots of folks say hair is stronger, less breakage, maybe even more elastic. For me I saw less shedding in the shower, which is always satisfying. It’s not perfect though. The smell is a bit strong kind of chemical-y, so if you’re sensitive to smells it might bug you. Also if you use too much or leave it on super long, it can weigh finer hair down, make roots greasy or limp. So using just the right amount and rinsing well matters. And it’s pricey worth it if your hair really needs help, maybe less so if your hair is already pretty healthy. All in all, this is a keeper. It’s not magic overnight, but with consistent use once a week, my hair’s gone from limp and damaged to manageable, smoother, healthier-looking. If your locks have been through the wringer, this will make you feel like you have them back.

Olaplex No.3 — Bond-Builder with Potential, But Not a Miracle Fix
I tried Olaplex No.3 hoping to rescue my hair from heat & colour damage. After a few uses, it’s been quite good — but it’s not a magic repair job. --- ✅ What I Liked / What Worked Well Noticeable strength and smoother texture: No.3 targets the internal disulfide bonds in hair — those damaged by bleaching, colouring, heat-styling — to help rebuild structure and improve resilience. After treating and shampooing, my hair felt softer, with less roughness and fewer snags when combing. Reduces breakage & improves manageability for treated/damaged hair: For bleached or frequently styled hair especially, many users (and the brand’s own data) report less breakage and easier detangling after use. Solid as part of a full hair-care system: When paired with a gentle shampoo/conditioner (as recommended), results seem better: hair feels healthier, smoother, and more “alive.” Flexible usage — not too heavy: It’s not a heavy conditioning mask, but a bond treatment; this makes it suitable if you don’t want greasy or weighed-down hair, especially if you wash regularly. --- ⚠️ What Didn’t Work / What to Watch Out For Not a moisture or deep-conditioning fix: No.3 doesn’t deeply hydrate or replace a nourishing mask. If your hair is dry or brittle from over-processing, you might still need moisturizing treatments or oils to get softness and manageability. Results vary — depends on hair type and damage history: On some hair (e.g. heavily damaged, very porous, or over-processed) results are more subtle, or the hair feels “improved but still fragile.” If your hair wasn’t significantly damaged, benefit might be minimal. Not an overnight transformation: Bond-building takes time and repeated use. You may need several treatments before seeing “real” improvement; don’t expect miracle repair after one wash. Needs correct usage for best effect: Works best when applied before shampoo on damp hair, left for recommended time (3–10 min, or a bit more if specified), then rinsed and followed by shampoo & conditioner. If you skip steps or overuse, benefits might not show. --- 🧾 My “Hair Journey” — What I Noticed Used once a week for 4–6 washes. After the second use: combing was easier, hair felt smoother. Over a couple of weeks: less breakage around ends, fewer split ends appearing, hair seemed less dry (though ends still needed extra moisture). On virgin or slightly damaged parts of hair, change was subtle — more shine and softness rather than dramatic strength. On bleached/damaged lengths, the difference was more noticeable. I still use a separate deep-conditioner or oil now and then, especially after heat styling — because bond-building alone doesn’t give full moisture. --- 🎯 My Verdict — Who It’s Good For & What To Expect ⭐ Great choice for: Those with bleached, coloured, or heat-styled hair needing bond repair and breakage reduction. People wanting a “maintenance / repair boost” without heavy masks or greasy feel. Anyone who uses regular shampoo/conditioner but wants extra protection against future damage. ⚠️ Might disappoint if you: Need deep moisture or hydration — for that, combine with conditioners or masks. Expect instant hair transformation — think “repair & improve over time,” not “fix everything in one go.” Have very lightly treated hair — benefits may be minimal. Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars. Olaplex No.3 is a strong “bond-first-aid” treatment — helpful, noticeable over time, but not a replacement for hydration, care, and proper hair routine.

Really impressed
Really impressed! My hair was in really bad condition - damaged and dry and no matter what conditioners or masks I tried it wasn’t improving. Saw this brand had such great reviews so thought I’d give it a go, and was very pleasantly surprised! After one application my hair was improved! It’s not cheap and the bottle is tiny but you don’t need much. I’ve got below shoulder length thick hair, so do use quite a bit but could probably get 5-6 applications out of this bottle. This product made my hair feel new! It is a tiny bottle but a little goes a long way.

Game changer for my hair!
Having had highlights recently (which came out too light and pretty much fried a lot of my hair especially around my face), I decided to give this product a go. My regular masks just weren't doing it. Easy to apply, on towel dried hair, and I left it for about an hour, combing it through. Washed and conditioned my hair, and OH MY GOD what a difference this has made. My hair is smooth, shiny and the fried frizzy look has completely vanished. The bottle is small, and yes, it's a little pricey, but in my opinion it's worth every penny.

Good but way over priced
Very good treatment but it's ridiculously expensive. I'm not sure if it's worth the price for the amount you get 🤔
